She reckoned that although she has "accepted" parts of her life will be public matters, she has "control" over what she lets out, and she's no longer "afraid to exist."

"Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public," Zendaya told the publication. "I can't not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share."

She added, "It's about protecting the peace and letting things be your own, but also not being afraid to exist. You can't hide. That's not fun, either. I am navigating it more than ever now."

In a world where celebrity relationships are often thrust into the spotlight, the beloved Spider-Man actor also made a conscious and candid choice to keep his romance with Zendaya away from the public eye. 

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Holland expressed his preference for maintaining a private sphere around his relationship with Zendaya, noting that it is something they treat as "sacred." 

The actor made a distinction between their personal lives and their careers, expressing his nonchalant attitude toward revealing details about their romance.

"Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of, and we want to keep as sacred as possible," Holland stated. "We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers."

In a heartwarming revelation that adds another layer of authenticity to the narrative, Holland opened up about his relationship with Zendaya in a recent conversation on the "Smartless" podcast, noting that he feels "lucky" to be with her and that their romance is "worth its weight in gold."

Holland, admired for his boy-next-door charm and sincere demeanor, let his emotions shine as he discussed his bond with Zendaya in the interview.

"I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life," Holland said. "It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you."

He added, "You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff and that's worth its weight in gold."

Elsewhere in her interview with Elle, the acclaimed actress and fashion icon also took a moment to address recent speculations of a strained relationship with her stylist, Law Roach. 

Zendaya found herself in the public eye after a viral video captured a seemingly awkward encounter between her and Roach at Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week runway show. The video, which showed him momentarily searching for a seat next to Zendaya, led fans to interpret her body language as "dismissive," causing speculations about a potential rift between them. 

However, Zendaya quickly put those rumors to rest during the interview. "When it happened, I said, 'Oh no, I hope people don't try to create something from this,'" she said before recounting the details of the incident. 

The actress noted that they were "stuck in traffic" and "rushing" to the front row, after which she tried to look for Roach's assigned seat. The video showed her pointing to a row behind her, making it look like that was Roach's seat, with many believing he was offended.

"We're so used to sitting together that he didn't know where to go," Zendaya clarified. "But obviously, people want to assume the worst of the situation, which is not always easy to deal with and hurtful."
