Swift's seventh album was notable for many reasons; "Lover" was the first album she owned following the purchase of her masters   and she was openly singing about being in love while in a new relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. Her previous album "Reputation" was arguably quite darker in some of its subject matter and overall feel.

Not only did "Lover" produce one of the most popular songs featured on wedding soundtracks in recent years, but it was also home to a favorite of her devoted Swifties: "Cruel Summer!"

"Cruel Summer" has recently seen a large burst of popularity recently; the album's second track has reached unprecedented chart positions four years after its release!

A Swiftie asked their fellow TayTay lovers to reveal their favorite track from the album, and their thread received massive engagement!

"i have sm favs tbh but i LOVE the archer the most off the album and my reasoning being that it rlly explains how i feel at times and the lyrics mean a lot to me . she always knows how to put my feelings into ways i never can," a Swiftie explained

"i love so many songs off of lover but Soon You'll Get Better will always be close to my heart. That song got me through so much, when when she sings "soon you'll get better, cuz you have to" it feels as if she's right there talking to me and trying to heal me," another revealed.

"all of taylor’s songs are my favourite, but if I have to say one song in this album, it would be daylight.. cause she told to the whole world that she is very well after that KimYe drama and she isn’t think about past. She knows what can happened to her but she think about future," another Swiftie weighed in.

"my favorite song is cornelia street! i love this album because it so unabashedly celebrates love and the topsy turvy feeling of navigating the fears of falling for someone again, but tinged with just enough hope that maybe this time, you finally got it right <3," a Swiftie shared.

"ts nice to have a friend stays special in my heart, its way too underrated in this fandom, its a sweet pure song about crushing on someone, falling for them and getting married something that usually never works out yet taylor took us w in a fantasy in a song where it could," another wrote.
