‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Fans In Awe Of Amy Slaton's New Transformation

Fans of Amy Slaton-Halterman cannot believe how much weight she has lost in recent times!

The "1000-lb Sisters" star seemingly shocked her multitude of followers when she uploaded a still clip highlighting her "gorgeous" features, prompting them to flood her with compliments and praise. The outpour of affection comes less than three weeks after an insider claimed that her sister, Tammy, has become open to dating a woman.

Over the last four seasons, TLC viewers have been glued to their screens watching the Slaton sisters shed most of their weight in a bid to prioritize their health. Now, that mission seems to have paid off as Amy's recent update on social media highlighted the unmistakable difference in her physical appearance.

Taking to TikTok, the mom-of-two posted a selfie of herself pouting at the camera as she rocked her pajamas, which were littered with a slew of vampire-inspired lips and teeth. The snap, which was set to the tune of the "Monster High" theme song, also had the words "Pj time" written across it.

Despite the heavy filters that altered her facial features, including her lips, eyelashes, and nose, the change in her could not be overlooked. This would explain why this netizen used the comment section to gush, "looking gorgeous! love yall! ?," and another instructed, "GO AHEAD AMY."

"No bc I wanna have this type of glow up," a third person, and a fourth exclaimed, "Too funny I have the same ones on they are so comfortable and cute!!" Similarly, a fifth cybernaut enthusiastically commented, "Amyyyyyyyyy girl I love youuuu!!" 

Meanwhile, a few TikTok users were opposed to Amy's heavy filter use, and one of them pointed out, "@Anita Maxinemoore: Amy, you need to put your real self. You don't need to put this fake stuff that's not you that's not you you need to put the real you on there."

While the reaction to the YouTuber's post would warm any heart, she had gotten the flack when she intimated her fans on her son, Gage Deon Halterman's diet when he was just four months old. At the time, The Blast reported that she dropped two images showing the messy face of the tot after he tried solid food for the first time.

"Gage ate green beans for the 1st time," she informed her fanbase on X — formerly known as Twitter — in March 2021. Almost immediately after going live, one person replied to the X, stating, "He is adorable. Just be careful with solids since he is so young. If doc approves just go slow."

A second observer declared, "I don't understand your hurry to introduce him to food, all he needs is milk at this age. Remember where your unhealthy relationship with food led you," and a third added:

"Mom of 4 here really surprised a doc would think green beans appropriate at 4 mos. maybe a little rice cereal if he's too hungry for just formula. Watch 4 a reaction. Also, He's adorable!"

Not one to let people get away with criticizing her mothering skills, Amy promptly clapped back, "Gage's doctor told us to give him vegetables. I would never do anything to hurt gage. I even messaged his nurse daily to make sure he stays safe. Only thing he said was not fruit right now."

While her sister soaks up the limelight regarding her weight loss progress, Tammy recently appeared in the news for her decision to move on following the unexpected passing of her husband, Caleb Willingham, earlier this year. 

Per The Blast, an insider disclosed that the 37-year-old had not only become open to dating women, but was actively looking for a girlfriend instead of bagging herself a new man. After claiming that the Slaton sister was "in her bad b**ch era," the source said, "Tammy is pansexual, and she's looking to date a woman right now." 

Going further, the insider revealed that even though the reality television star had "been talking to a few people," nothing had turned "serious" yet. Touching on the weight she had shed over the years, they added:

"Tammy has lost all of this weight, and she's ready to get back out there. Caleb passing away was hard for her, but they were already having problems, and she felt he didn't have time for her. Tammy felt that he didn't put effort into trying to move to Kentucky and get out of rehab to be with her."
