50 Cent may be the forgiving type but certainly does not forget as he is getting back at Nick Cannon two months after the talk show host body-shamed him.
Fans would recall that in June, Cannon had a chat with the rapper's ex-girlfriend, Vivica Fox, on his "The Daily Cannon" podcast, where he made disapproving remarks about Cent's appearance.
With that, the "21 Questions" musician recently poked fun at Cannon's large family, particularly his 12 children from different women, implying he did not envy the emotional baggage the famous baby daddy has to endure.
50 Cent Believes Having A Large Home Is Okay If He Had As Many Kids As Nick Cannon
While sharing his views on extravagant spending, including purchasing gigantic properties, the "In da Club" rapper jokingly bashed Cannon for having more than enough children to fill a large house.
Speaking with Forbes' Brian J. Roberts, Cent initially pointed out how he learned from past mistakes regarding living lavishly to denote one's success.
He recalled buying his mansion in Farmington, Connecticut, in 2003, which he admittedly regrets. The property was acquired from Mike Tyson's ex-wife for $4.1 million following the success of his album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin'."
The 50,000 square feet residence has 52 rooms, a colossal cathedral foyer, a cavern-like pool spa, a whole night club with a casino room, two billiards rooms, a basketball court, a recording studio, and, a helipad.
The 48-year-old TV producer spent a fortune on the house monthly —$72,000, which covered his mortgage, property tax, insurance, and utilities. In addition, he paid $5,000 for gardening and $9,000 for security. He conceded to Roberts that even with the excessive display of wealth, which he felt was unnecessary, he would still sleep on one bed.
In his words, "You still gonna sleep on one bed... So if you're not in that mode where you wanna bring that many people around for you to entertain them, then you're not good."
However, he believed the excessive space would be worth it if he had as many kids as Cannon. Taking a jab at the "Drumline" actor, he jested, "If I had Nick Cannon's 12 kids or s--t like that, you could put them all in a bedroom. Everybody's here. But I'm not going to have kids like that."
The "Candy Shop" musician stressed that he did not want the "responsibility" of having so many baby mamas to deal with emotionally, especially after "they don't feel like your friend anymore."
"I don't know what the f–k is wrong with Nick Cannon," he exclaimed before quickly righting himself, claiming the "old 50 Cent" slipped out and he is now the "new 50." Cent then referenced Cannon's remark about him during one of his shows. "Yeah, you know, I owed him that 'cause he said something about me," he stated.
Speaking of the "Roll Bounce" star's commentary, in June during an episode of his "The Daily Cannon" podcast, featuring Cent's ex, Fox, as a guest star, he said, "You can, like, fantasize about Fif from 15 years ago," adding a mocking note about the Grammy Award winner looking different from his early days compared to today's "fat" 50.
Cannon continued, "He looks like he got a pack of hot dogs on the back of his neck." However, his co-hosts Mason Moussette and Courtney Bee asserted that they still found Cent attractive.
This led the 42-year-old podcaster to articulate, "You looking at the pictures from 'Get Rich or Die Tryin,' now it gets thick or die fryin'."
The 'Power' Creator Voiced Plans To Seize Former Employee's Home After Winning Lawsuit
Cent's clapping back at Cannon's past jab may not be surprising to fans given that the father-of-two is widely known for trolling. Back in March on Instagram, the 'Power" star went after a former employee, Mitchell Green.
He accused Green of taking $2.2 million in "under-the-table kickbacks" between 2018 and 2020 before his crime was discovered in October 2022. The businessman was also charged with "breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and unjust enrichment" concerning Sire Spirits, one of Cent's brands that makes Branson Cognac.
The G-Unit Records founder won the case and was awarded $6,194,293. However, Green was yet to pay, prompting Cent to announce that he would take all his assets, including his home.
