Chloe Lattanzi is prioritizing her health! The daughter of Dame Olivia Newton-John recently shared her struggles coping with losing her mom to cancer.
Last year, the sensational singer and actress took her final breath after a difficult battle with breast cancer. She developed the malignant disease three times before succumbing to death's cold grip on August 8, 2022.
Reflecting on the four-time Grammy winner's demise, her only child opened up about the concerning state of her mental health and how she planned to overcome the aftermath of the entertainer's passing.
Chloe Latanzzi Reveals 'Extreme Memory Loss' & Other Troubling Symptoms Following Olivia Newton-John's Passing
Weeks after the anniversary of her mother's death, the "Make a Move on Me" songstress's daughter updated her Instagram page with an emotional post about her well-being. Filming herself at home, the blonde beauty got real with fans about feeling "compelled" to make the video.
Although she gave off a mesmerizing busty appearance in a green tube ensemble, the 37-year-old confessed she did not feel as good as she looked. Pulling on viewers' heartstrings with Franchesca's "Inner Me" track playing in the background, the Los Angeles native revealed:
"Since my mom's passing and the year and a half with her going through cancer, I have not been okay. If I have forgotten to return your calls. If I have — I've had extreme memory loss, I've had difficulty getting out of bed."
The media personality admitted, "I've stuck to my commitments, but I have been neglecting myself," adding that she had failed to live by one of her late mother's significant mottos.
"One of my mom's biggest messages was 'take care of you.' If you don't take care of you, you cannot give your full capacity of love, wisdom, kindness, and power to everyone else," Lattanzi explained.
Given the poor state of her health, the 37-year-old announced she would be taking time off to "honor her mind, body, and spirit" before the little issues she developed in these areas worsened. The influencer shall leave for about three weeks to a month following the upcoming "Wellness Walk."
The annual Olivia's Walk for Wellness supported the late "Grease" actress's legacy and her passion to raise awareness alongside funds for cancer patients. This year's project was scheduled for Sunday, 8 October 2023, in Melbourne, Australia.
Once again clearing the air about her lack of communication, Lattanzi said: "I just wanted to say to anyone who I have been inconsistent with, I'm so sorry. I haven't been consistent with myself, and I haven't been taking care of myself."

The Los Angeles beauty concluded, "So in the spirit of my mother and the spirit of the Wellness Walk, I'm going to take a month to do that so that I can be of complete service to everyone else," hoping her reminder to prioritize one's wellbeing was helpful to those who needed it.
Echoing similar sentiments in her caption, the "Xanadu" actress's daughter expressed her excitement to see fans at the upcoming walk and implored them to heal themselves. "Take it easy. Take it slow. Easy does it, darlings," the media personality penned.
Touched by her emotional confession, fans applauded Lattanzi for her strength and advised the deceased's child not to rush her healing process. "You're still grieving. We'll be ok. You take care of you. We love you & pray for you. Take all the time you need. We'll be here xo," a follower declared.
The Order of the British Empire Honoree's Last Moments With Her Daughter
Before sharing the physical and mental impact of her mother's death on her well-being, Lattanzi revealed Newton-John's last moments in a candid interview. In February, the 37-year-old claimed the actress had remained cheerful despite losing the battle against cancer.
Disclosing her final conversation with the "I Honestly Love You" songstress, the influencer recalled: “The last words she could say to me was, ‘My sunshine.’” As for how the Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree embraced the end, Lattanzi claimed she did it by making others smile.
“Right before she lost her ability to speak, she was making jokes,” the grief-stricken daughter confessed. Losing the ACM Award winner broke the Los Angeles native's heart; however, she remained proud of her mother's legacy.
“She’s my mama. She’s not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I’m so glad that she was Olivia Newton-John for so many people,” the blonde beauty confessed. The late actress welcomed her only child during her first marriage to the former actor Matthew Lattanzi.
