McGuinness, who has always been open about her personal life, took a dive away from talking about her health to discuss abruptly quitting her first job. The former Miss Liverpool proved that she was just like other well-known celebrities, starting their journeys from humble beginnings. However, unlike those other stars, her plans to start a career as an air hostess did not pan out as she planned.

Christine McGuinness Quit The Job But Refused To Let The Air Hostess' Uniform Go

While regular breakfast hosts Leanne Campbell and Scott Hughes take a break from their show on Radio City, Christine stepped in to fill in for them alongside Wes Butters. During her first presenting shift on Monday, Butters asked the mother-of-three where her first job was, to which she responded:

"My first job was in Liverpool Airport. [It] only lasted about two weeks because I wanted to be an air hostess, and then I realized I was scared of flying. I liked the uniform though. So, I kept it."

The admission ignited laughter from Butters before he observed, "I'm noticing, though, you don't stay at places very long like school, Liverpool Airport. Are you going to last the week here?" To that, the English model admitted that she hoped so.

Prior to her landing the radio gig, Christine had recalled meeting her now ex-husband Paddy McGuinness at the annual Liverpool International Tennis Tournament in 2007. Speaking to ECHO about the occurrence, the "The Real Housewives of Cheshire" alum revealed:

"He was supposed to be watching the tennis, but I think he was really more interested in the fashion show. We had a mutual friend there who introduced us but I can't say I was starstruck – I'd never seen him on anything. I knew who Peter Kay was, obviously, and I'd heard of Max & Paddy, but I didn't realise it was him."

After noting that Paddy had used his charms on her and made her laugh, the 35-year-old claimed that neither of them "was looking for anything serious at the time," hence they "met up every now and again."

"It all started off quite casually but then he asked me to stay over at his house one night, and it went from one night to a weekend, then to a week and I just ended up not moving out," Christine further shared.

The lovebirds soon made their way to the altar, welcoming their twins— Leo and Penelope — in 2013 after two years of marriage. Later in September 2016, the duo welcomed their third child — daughter Felicity Rose.

Despite the love the family of five shared, especially following the autism diagnosis that Christine and the kids received, the union was seemingly not meant to be. The "Loose Women" star and the "Question of Sport" host announced their separation in July 2022.

As the McGuinness try to navigate their new normal, the family's matriarch decided to stop posting content of the children on social media. According to The Blast, she had no choice but to go into more detail about the decision when one fan called her out for it recently.

As it turned out, the entrepreneur had uploaded a stunning photo of herself showcasing her taut abs in a black crop top that she paired with figure-hugging leggings, a white shirt, and trainers. In the accompanying caption, she wrote:

"Just minding my own business, wishing others could do the same ?. I'm probably in Rotterdam right now who knows, this could be anywhere!"

Seeing an opportunity to get something off their chest, one curious follower took to the comment section to point out, "I used to like the real family pics with your children's antics. You don't post them anymore. I hope you and they are well. Unfollow."

Tagging the Instagram user, the television personality clarified, "@symssmandy I am not allowed to show my own children, it's not my choice." The humorous response won the respect of other fans, with one typing, "Let them talk darling ?. You're worth talking about ??❤️," and another stated, "??? go girl!! That's definitely Dubai!??? ?️."
