It appears that Sam Asghari will still be mentioned in the memoir about his soon-to-be ex-wife, Britney Spears.
The pop star's highly anticipated memoir "The Woman In Me" will be released on October 24, 2023. The book is expected to touch on everything from her relationship with her family to her conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021.
The memoir is also expected to touch on some of her more high-profile relationships, which have been making headlines amid her public divorce from the "Special Ops: Lioness" actor. The 29-year-old actor filed for divorce on August 16 citing "irreconcilable differences" according to court documents obtained by The Blast.
There Will Not Be 'A Lot' Of Sam Asghari In Britney Spears' Upcoming Memoir 'The Woman In Me'
There will not be "a lot" of Sam Asghari in Britney’s upcoming memoir “The Woman In Me.” On Sunday, sources told the Daily Mail that the actor will still be mentioned in the memoir but “not a lot” given that the former couple is “no longer speaking.”
“Sam features in the autobiography but not a lot. You'll see on October 24 when it comes out,” an insider shared. On Monday, sources told TMZ that Britney gave her final sign-off on the book two weeks ago and there will not be any changed made to the memoir to reflect her upcoming divorce. Sources told the outlet that presales for her memoir have only increased since the divorce; however, an insider divulged that the book will mainly cover her early life, her career, and her conservatorship.
On Thursday night, a source told Page Six that Britney is “focused” on releasing a new album around the same time her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” hits bookshelves. “Ideally, she would love to do a record and maybe a song for the book release,” one insider shared, while another claimed that she “has an upcoming writers camp and is getting songs from some big artists.”
Will.I.Am Believes That Britney Still Has A ‘Plethora’ Of Unreleased Music
Fans are anxious to see Britney make a comeback in her music career. She has only released two songs since her conservatorship ended in November 2021: “Hold Me Closer” with Sir Elton John and “Mind Your Business” with will.i.am, who believes that Britney has a "plethora" of unreleased music that fans are waiting to hear.
In a July 2023 interview with TMZ Live, will.i.am revealed that Britney came up with a new song while they were collaborating on “Mind Your Business.” He recalled, “I can tell you from this experience of fine tuning, Mind Your Business, um, she went over some ideas, like, ‘Hey put this on it,’ and I’m like, ‘Yo, Britney, this is idea, that you just gave right now, is actually a new song. This is freaking crazy.’”
“She gave this idea,” he continued. “I was like, ‘Wow, wow, wait, you can’t just throw this away in this song. This is a whole song within itself.’ She has ideas and an idea factory. I could only imagine that Britney is sitting on a plethora of songs that she’s done with different producers. I’m pretty sure her and Pharrell probably have stuff that was unreleased.”
“I’m pretty sure that she has to have… no artist that is that prolific, that’s an idea machine, doesn’t have a plethora of song,” he added. “The moment she goes in the studio and focuses on a record, you know it’s going to be earth shattering. I just, it’s going to be earth scattering because there’s not that many people that have been through what she’s been through that is going to help folks that having similar situations.”
Britney Admits That She Is 'A Little Shocked' That Her Relationship Is Over
Although the actor filed for divorce on Wednesday, the Princess of Pop waited until Friday night in order to address her divorce on Instagram. Although she admitted that she tries to make her life look "perfect" on Instagram, she confessed that she was "a little shocked" that her relationship came to an end after six years.
"As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!!" she wrote in the caption. "But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!"
Many of her famous friends have been showing their support for the pop star, including Pink, Madonna, and even her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
