Kid Rock is apparently back on good terms with Bud Light four months after shooting up its cans. The singer's anger was because of the brand's campaign with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Mulvaney's campaign led to a boycott of Bud Light by certain people and a decline in sales.

Mulvaney recently criticized the beer company for abandoning her and allowing people to spew transphobic and hateful comments. Since the controversy, Bill Busch, from the Anheuser-Busch company, has offered to buy back Bud Light and make it "great again."

Kid Rock seems to be done fighting with Bud Light about four months after his viral shooting video. The singer was photographed drinking from a Bud Light can at a recent Colt Ford concert in Nashville. This is a big contrast to his show of anger against the brand earlier this year.

In April, the "Bawitdaba" singer posted a video using an AR-15 shotgun to destroy several packs of Bud Light cans. In the video, he said, "F**k Bud Light, and f**k Anheuser-Busch." Rock's anger was because of a campaign the beer brand did with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Two days before Rock posted the video, Mulvaney shared photos from the new campaign on her Instagram. In the post, she promoted Bud Light with special cans with her face on them. However, the Dylan beer cans were only for campaign purposes and not for sale.

Mulvaney's campaign with Bud Light caused a controversy on social media, with many people angry about the company working with a trans influencer. Calls to boycott the beer brand began, eventually affecting sales for a brand that has dominated the domestic beer market for years.

Rock was one of the prominent voices speaking out against Bud Light and its Mulvaney campaign. Despite his anger, the singer didn't stop serving the beer at his Honky Tonk Rock & Roll Steakhouse restaurant in Nashville.

Some country music stars like Travis Tritt joined Rock to boycott the beer brand and pledged to avoid it. Some, like Garth Brooks, refused to stop serving the beer at his bar and encouraged fans to visit his place with "an open mind."

Dylan Mulvaney Criticizes Bud Light For Abandoning Her

Mulvaney recently responded to the controversy with a video she posted on Instagram. The influencer called out Bud Light for abandoning her after the campaign became controversial. She said the brand gave its "customers permission to be as transphobic and as hateful as they want."

Mulvaney got emotional in the video and said she's been "ridiculed in public" since the controversy began and is afraid to leave home. The social media star said she's also "felt a loneliness that I wouldn't wish on anyone." She added, "For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse than not hiring a trans person at all."

Mulvaney's video post came after Brendan Whitworth, the CEO of Bud Light's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, refused to comment on any possible future campaigns with Mulvaney. A spokesperson previously said the partnership was meant to "authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points."

There Are Offers To Buy The Company

Since the boycott against Bud Light intensified, there have been offers to buy the beer company. Billy Busch, the heir to the Anheuser-Busch company, has expressed his interest in purchasing the business from its parent brand, Anheuser-Busch InBev.

During a recent appearance on Tomi Lahren's "Fearless" podcast, Busch criticized the parent company for its "woke marketing" decisions. He claimed these choices led to working with Mulvaney and the eventual beer brand boycott.

He said, "When you are a foreign company and you rely on these woke students that are coming out of these woke colleges to do your advertising for you, you're making a big mistake." According to their June 17 weekly sales analysis by Bump Williams Consulting and NielsenIQ, the brand fell by a major 28.5%, its biggest in a year.
