Queen of Pop Madonna has taken to Instagram to share her gratitude for being alive with fans.
The singer recently suffered a health scare that led to her being hospitalized a month ago. Although not much is known about the entire ordeal, she appears to have fully recovered as she took to Lisbon in style to celebrate her 65th birthday.
Madonna has also announced rescheduling her Celebration Tour, which was previously put on hold due to her illness. It was scheduled to start in July but would now kick off in October with sold-out shows in London.

'It's Great To Be Alive'
Over a month ago, Madonna almost lost her life after contracting a bacterial infection that required her to be hospitalized.
Luckily, doctors were able to nip the spread in the bud, after which Madonna had to spend an undisclosed number of days in the hospital before returning home.
With her road to recovery coinciding with her 65th birthday, the acclaimed Queen of Pop took to Instagram to share her gratitude for still being alive to mark the momentous occasion.
"'It's great to be Alive….. and Amazing to Be able to put on my dancing shoes and Celebrate my Birthday! Im So Grateful," the singer wrote in a post on the platform.
She added, "Thank you Lisbon and to all who made it possible," in reference to her friends and the Portuguese capital where she marked the celebration.

In her heartfelt gratitude post, Madonna shared highlights of memorable moments from her celebration, which her children - Lourdes, Mercy, James, and Rocco attended.
These highlights were beautifully condensed into a clip. Every cherished moment found its place, from horseback riding to swimming, yacht adventures to laughter-filled dinners with friends.
Clearly, the singer had the time of her life as she effortlessly struck stellar poses throughout the compilation.
In one of the scenes, Madonna graced the frame in a red floral-print dress adorned with layers of necklaces. She complemented the outfit with a clutch purse and designer glasses.
In another shot, she exuded irresistible charm in a stunning black ensemble, complete with sparkling green emerald earrings.

Madonna Reschedules Dates For Her Celebration Tour
The seven-time Grammy Award winner recently announced the rescheduled dates for her Celebration Tour. She had put the tour on hold due to her health scare, but now she seems ready to hit the road and thrill her fans.
The tour was initially scheduled to begin in North America in July 2023. It has now been shifted to October, starting with four already sold-out shows in the UK's capital, London.
Then, Madonna will appear in different European countries for the rest of the year, including Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. She would also kick off the North American leg in Brooklyn at Barclays Center on December 13.
According to Madonna's official website, not all of the shows were rescheduled as expected. Due to scheduling conflicts, shows in Tulsa, Nashville, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Phoenix are permanently canceled. Fans can get refunds for these dates at the original point of purchase.
