Inside Robert De Niro's Star-Studded 80th Birthday Bash!

The crème de la crème of Hollywood turned up to celebrate Robert De Niro's latest birthday milestone!
The "Casino" actor's family and close friends descended upon New York to enjoy a special dinner in honor of his 80th birthday. De Niro's years-long girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, also excitedly supported her man on his big day, as they all had a swell time wining and dining at a luxurious Italian hotspot.

Four months after they welcomed their baby girl, the couple turned up with her to the actor's birthday shindig. According to Daily Mail, the family of three welcomed a star-studded group to the swanky Locanda Verde restaurant on Thursday.
Even though the event featured a festive atmosphere, the new mom opted to wear a gray hoodie, matching sweatpants, a white v-neck top, sleek sunglasses, and white sneakers. She kept her hair away from her face, sweeping it into a ponytail as she pushed her daughter's stroller onto the sidewalk before crossing toward the party's location.
The celebrant similarly sported a casual look, laying a stylish blazer over a loose tan polo shirt, black pants, and matching shoes. His friend Paul McCartney mirrored the "GoodFellas" actor's blazer choice along with a cobalt blue shirt, which he tucked into a pair of dark jeans.
He finished his ensemble with dark aviators, with his wife Nancy Shevell, who paired a chic off-the-shoulder top with a floral skirt, earrings, and a pendant. Also spotted at the shindig was the former model Uma Thurman, who brought her father Robert Thurman as her plus-one for the fun night.
While Uma showed off her fashion game in a green coat and cutoff jeans, her dad rocked a classic black suit, a colorful floral shirt, and burnt-orange sunshades. De Niro's birthday bash similarly welcomed film director Francis Ford Coppola, who was a picture of timeless sophistication.
The 84-year-old stunned in a cream suit, a striped blue shirt, and a matching tie. Meanwhile, "Star Wars" director, George Lucas, went for a more relaxed look with an untucked short-sleeved shirt.
Renowned music mogul Tommy Mottola, credited with discovering singer Mariah Carey and being her first husband, appeared remarkably youthful as he joined the gathering at Locanda Verde. Notably adorned in blue and white nautical attire, highly acclaimed painter Julian Schnabel added a striking touch to his ensemble with a flower-adorned hat.
Lorne Michaels, the creator and longstanding producer of "Saturday Night Live," showcased a similar sense of elegance in a tan suit as he made his way to the celebration. Controversial figures like the embattled ex-New York Governor Andrew Cuomo also dropped in to wish De Niro a happy birthday.
The Award-Winning Actor Was Just Friends With Chen For Several Months
One month before she and her man hosted their inner circle at the fete, Chen had granted an interview where she got candid about their love story. According to The Blast, the China Star Entertainment Group vice-chairman revealed that their relationship was strictly professional when they first met on the set of the comedy-drama, "The Intern," in 2015.
However, their bond naturally transformed over the several years, until it blossomed into a romantic relationship. As the film producer told Gayle King on CBS Mornings:
"When we were working, it was just work. And then a couple of years later, we got back in touch, and I said, 'Oh, I guess we get along, and I guess we really get along.'"
Apart from sharing insight into her romance with De Niro, Chen also discussed her experience of being diagnosed with Bell's palsy after welcoming Gia in April. As it turned out, she began experiencing strange sensations in her tongue, such as tingling and numbness, after leaving the hospital with her baby girl. Describing the feeling, the recounted:
"My face just felt weird. It was like everything was starting to just fall down on itself. Like, my face was melting on itself. Then a week after giving birth, that was when it all hit."
She subsequently began to "slur" her speech and "couldn't eat," which was when she became concerned and returned to the hospital. Unfortunately, when she arrived at the facility, she lost control of all facial functions resulting in a medical evaluation and a diagnosis of Bell's palsy.
Bell's palsy is a condition characterized by a sudden weakening of the muscles on one side of the face. Luckily, this weakness is usually temporary and shows significant improvement over several weeks.
