Maksim Chmerkovskiy Gives Fans Glimpse Of His 'Favorite Meditation Spot'

Maksim Chmerkovskiy is letting fans in on his 'heaven on earth' spot where he goes for alone time.

Meditation — the practice in which an individual focuses the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to orient attention and awareness — is one of the many techniques the pro dancer uses to attain such feats. He recently revealed his favorite "medication spot" and sells its unique features well.

If fans wanted to catch a glimpse of the "Dancing With the Stars" former contestant's safe site, aka where he connects to his inner self, they were in luck on Thursday, August 17. He shared a clip on his IG Story showing the beautiful location on his trip back to Napa.

"Driving to the airport, back to Napa, and I want to show you my favorite meditation spot," the father of three said just before moving the device to show the secluded area. A view of this remarkable place showed that it was clogged with grass and overlooked a massive ocean.

The 43-year-old mentioned the pondering place is "on the side of Cayon Cayon." After that, Chmerkovskiy continued, "Normally, you see the ocean, but every morning, it's like an amazing cloudy place."

"It's like I'm in the cloud, and for me, it's the best way to stay here, reflect and get my day started," he added. Concluding the post, he said, "This is a great moment in my daily routine that no one really knows about."

Speaking of Napa trips, the Latin ballroom champion previously poked fun at his wife, Peta Murgatroyd's raw emotions whenever he had to leave home. At the time, his spouse, also a professional dancer, was weeks away from birthing their second son, Rio John. 

The Ukraine native posted an image of them smooching while their first child Shai Aleksander smiled at the camera. He slipped on a black-and-white plaid pack shirt over a black polo shirt with the same color pants and shoes. The six-year-old donned a white round-neck shirt and beige-colored trousers.

Meanwhile, Murgatroyd was dressed in a more comfortable casual outfit consisting of a black top with a plunging neckline, gray joggers, and a pair of Ugg slippers.

In the post's caption, the choreographer divulged that he was attending "Tech Week" in Napa. Afterward, he noted that the little one was "left to hold it down" while he was gone— a task he claims the little one is "taking it literally by holding mommy's belly."

Later, he revealed his partner was crying when he left, even poking fun at how Murgatroyd gets teary-eyed when shopping. "@petamurgatroyd is in tears. As per usual. Sometimes she tears up when I go to get groceries, so this is a big one ?," Chmerkovskiy penned.

Eventually, he finished off the text with his reaction when he left for his Napa trip, writing, "Me: I'm gooooooood! Also, me: [sobbing and listening to @sade for the entire 6[-]hour drive], [followed by three crying emoticons.]

No one has been more psyched to be a new father of two than Chmerkovskiy since his wife gave birth to Rio on June 18, which overlapped with this year's Father's Day. He unveiled a photo with his two kids. The newborn was sleeping in his father's arms while his big brother looked on.

Like his father, the first grader was shirtless, but he covered his buttocks with colorful shorts. In the picture, he placed his head on his dad's arm and lightly touched Rio's body with his right hand.

The dance instructor covered his bottom half with a white duvet and his naked chest with a white blanket with blue-and-red stripes. The picture captured him smiling. The caption read, "New favorite pic of all time! Father of two. Est 2017" and "#MadeInPeta," referencing his wife of five years.
