Marcus Jordan & Larsa Pippen Have A Wedding To Plan
Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen are already thinking of wedding bells! The couple had dinner in West Hollywood recently and were asked about their relationship as they left the restaurant. Per TMZ, Marcus was all smiles as he revealed he and Larsa are currently "looking for a location" for their nuptials.
When asked if they've set a wedding date, Marcus said yes and shared they're already planning the big day. Adding fuel to the fire, Larsa was photographed with a rock on her ring finger, but it's not sure if it's an engagement ring. Pippen has rocked the same ring on multiple recent Instagram posts.
Michael Jordan Doesn't Approve Of Their Relationship
Marcus and Larsa's relationship seems like bad news for the duo's family, especially his father, Michael. The basketball legend recently shared that he doesn't approve of their romance while speaking to some Paris press sometime last month.
When asked his opinion on Marcus and Larsa's relationship, he immediately said, "No!" When the question came again, the former Chicago Bulls player just shook his head and said nothing.
Michael's reaction to the question tells a different story from Larsa's statements to Tamron Hall in February this year. While talking about her romance with Marcus, she said, per Page Six, "I feel like we're in a great place. We motivate each other. We're really happy being together. And I feel like that's the most important thing."
Larsa also shared that she and Marcus's parents aren't bothered about their age gap, unlike what people think. The reality tv star said they only care about seeing their kids "happy" and are okay with them being together. She didn't comment on her ex-husband Scotty Pippen's opinions towards their relationship.
Larsa Pippen Was Traumatized By Michael's Comments
After hearing about Michael's comments on their romance, Larsa said she felt "traumatized" and "embarrassed." During an episode of her "Separation Anxiety" podcast with Marcus, she said, "I didn't think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it."
Larsa explained that the comments made her feel weird because it would make fans think she was a liar.
She said, "Online they were saying that I was lying — that I lied and said that our parents are fine because I was doing interviews and saying both of our families are fine. When I would say that, I felt like I didn't embellish that … and I would say both of our parents want us to be happy … I do understand that it's not awkward for us to be together because it's us."
Their Romance Is Awkward For Michael And Scotty
During her conversation with Marcus, Larsa noted that their romance is "probably awkward" for Michael and Scotty because of their alleged feud. However, she emphasized that her relationship with Marcus isn't "a part of that."
Larsa was referring to Scotty's grudge against his former teammate. The former NBA star has called Michael a "horrible player" and said he was "difficult to play with." This one-sided feud has lasted for many years, and both basketball icons aren't on speaking terms anymore.
During the podcast, Larsa said, "I feel like for them it probably is weird, it probably is weird for your dad. I can't be mad. I understand. But Oh my God, I was traumatized. I was like, 'What are we going to do? People think I lied.'"
Marcus, meanwhile, isn't as bothered about his father's comments and the feud. He kept laughing about the situation and said Michael already texted him about the situation. His father reportedly didn't mean any harm and was only refusing to talk about their relationship.
