The woman who brought Mabel Mora to life is extending her musical chops once again!
Selena Gomez announced a mini return to music on Instagram Thursday. The "Only Murders In The Building" actress revealed she has a new single in her arsenal, and she's getting ready to release it! The track is called "Single Soon."
The new song will be her first solo material since "My Mind And Me," accompanying the Apple TV+ documentary of the same name. The "Who Says" singer's upcoming album will be her first since 2019's "Rare."
The Rare Beauty CEO's Hulu show "Only Murders In The Building" is now in its third season, and featured big name guest stars Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd.

Gomez posted an Instagram carousel featuring several fun pics regarding her big announcement; it looks like the "Lose You To Love Me" singer is ready to party in purple!
The first slide shows Gomez sitting in the back of a car with all of her party regalia, and it reads, "Selena Gomez Single Soon."
She wrote to her followers, "Y’all have been asking for new music for a while. Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer. SINGLE SOON. August 25th. Presave it now. 😘,"
Fans Are Analyzing A Certain Clue In The 'Only Murders In The Building' Star's Announcement!
Gomez's followers are undoubtedly excited to see the "Wizards Of Waverly Place" alumna return to music and launch a new era!
Some followers zeroed in and latched onto a certain element in the picture above: Gomez could be depicting details surrounding her bestie Taylor Swift's next rerecording! Swift recently announced 2014's "1989" would be her next LP to receive the rerecording treatment.
"1989 goggles in the last polaroid 👀," a follower proclaimed in Gomez's Insta-comment section.
"👀 is that a Polaroid 👀," another echoed.
"OH MYY GOOOOOODDDD!!!!Wait ....... IS SHE GONNA BE IN 1989tv!??!?!!!!," a fan wondered!
"She’s in her 1989 tv era," a follower declared.

As of this writing, the "Rare" singer has not revealed when she will be completing her third LP or when the single will be released.
Swift's "1989 (Taylor's Version)" will be released on October 27th! The album will be released nine years to the day of "1989"'s original release.
Gomez's bestie also has not revealed any secrets about the five 'From The Vault' songs, including if Gomez will indeed be part of her special line up of duet partners!
