Ellen DeGeneres Hails Wife Of 15 Years Portia de Rossi In Sweet Anniversary

Ellen DeGeneres is head over heels in love with her wife!

The legendary former talk show host was full of love and praise for her partner, Portia de Rossi when the 15th wedding anniversary rolled around on August 16. The lovebirds had exchanged vows in August 2008 at their luxurious Beverly Hills home, where they live with their many pets after California overturned the same-sex marriage ban in the state.

Considering how many high-profile marriages barely make it past the 10-year mark, it was refreshing to see DeGeneres gush over de Rossi during their 15th wedding anniversary. Taking to Instagram to celebrate the milestone, the 65-year-old posted a singular shot of them from one of their many vacations together.

In the pic, the duo happily smiled at the camera, with the Primetime Emmy Award resting her head on her lover's shoulder as they stood on the deck of a yacht. The view of a rock formation and the ocean in the background made the image even better, highlighting their outfits.

While DeGeneres donned a black top and matching pants, the former "Ally McBeal" actress wore a white top, matching bottoms, and a cozy, colorful cardigan. The beauty of the snap was elevated further by the caption, which saw the "The Puppy Episode" star gushing:

"To my wife of 15 years- I fall more in love with you every day. My life is blessed because you're in it. Happy anniversary."

The short but sweet message promptly brought the superstar's colleagues and fans out in their droves, and they dropped their well wishes in the comments. British writer Jay Shetty penned, "Happy Anniversary to one of my favorite couples ???  sending SO much love your way," and American singer-songwriter Joshua Radin exclaimed, "Happy 15 years! Can't believe it's been that long. Hope you have the best anniversary ever!"

Comedian Chelsea Handler simply wanted to know if the lovebirds were home, while this fan claimed, "That is so nice to express about your wife." A second person observed:

"You two are standing the same way with your feet! I say my husband and I have one brain cause we do stuff like that, say the same thing, think the same thing, even buy each other the same cards! I'm guessing that's you two?!? Happy anniversary!"

A third supporter declared, "From the bottom of my heart, best wishes and congratulations to my favorite and most appreciated couple ❤️❤️❤️."

DeGeneres and de Rossi had gotten a similar reaction when the former uploaded a cute selfie of them on Instagram in June. The Blast noted that one netizen called them "Groovy," and another tagged them as "perfectly perfect." 

At the same time, a third cybernaut gushed, "LOOK AT THEM THIS IS REAL LOVE ????♥️♥️♥️♥️ ♥️," as a fourth effused, "SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL PICTURE."

Still commemorating the pair's love, The Blast reported earlier this year that de Rossi had pulled a major surprise for her wife. The surprise, it turned out, was for them to renew their wedding vows with the help of Kris Jenner, who officiated the ceremony. 

Kicking off the festivities, which happened during the 50th birthday party of the "Arrested Development" star, the momager began, "These two were born for each other, and Corey and I have spent so much time with them as their friends, neighbors, dance partners, cocktail buddies, and late-night chat sessions."

Going further, the media personality pointed out her amazement "with how cute" DeGeneres and her better half "are together and are a match made in heaven." She added:

"Two peas in a pod. Their love and commitment to one another is amazing, and it makes me so happy they have each other to love and cherish and grow old."

For the duo's part, de Rossi dubbed her partner "the most important thing" to her in the presence of their loved ones, and the standup comedian emotionally replied:

“I… yeah… I just adore you, I love you, and I would not be on this earth without you. You save me every day. Thank you for saving me every day and I'm the lucky one. And WOW, everyone."
