The NBA recently announced the schedule for the first ever in-season tournament and Lilo the corgi is getting in on the action.
The TikTok famous pup, who's known for her accurate predictions of who the winner will be in various sporting events, just got a paid partnership with the NBA for this exciting addition to the season.
Lilo The Corgi Is Getting In On The New NBA In-Season Tournament Action!
With the start of the NBA season only about two months away, the league released the schedule for its first ever in-season tournament. The new tournament will feature all 30 teams playing to win the NBA cup beginning on November 3.
So where does Lilo the corgi come into this exciting news? Lilo has partnered with the NBA to predict the winners! Aircorg's Instagram and TikTok pages shared a video explaining the exciting news.
"Attention! Starting November 3, all 30 teams will have a chance to compete to be the first ever NBA in-season tournament champs," the video begins. "Eight teams will advance to the knockout rounds with six of them being the leaders of their groups."
Lilo's owner continued to explain how excited they are to be included in the new NBA fun.
"We are so excited that we couldn't help but already make our group leader predictions," he said. "So drop into the comments what we got right and what we got wrong. And remember, dog don't lie."
Lilo's loyal fans dropped into the comment section to share their excitement for this fun opportunity.
"This never fails to make me smile! 😃" one person wrote on TikTok. "So we just parlay all of this?! Aircorg would get many treats! Bold choice in the spurs, but I would love it!" another fan wrote on Instagram.
Another Instagram follower pointed out that Lilo has made it by saying, "You know you made it when you’re doing paid partnerships with the @nba."
This Is The First Year For The In-Season Tournament
The in-season tournament begins on November 3 and ends on December 9 with the championship game in Las Vegas.
All teams were placed in five-team pods and will play each of the teams in their group once. All of the in-season tournament games will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays in November, with no game on November 7 for Election Day.
Many fans may be wondering how many games this season will have with the addition of the in-season tournament. Teams will each have 80 scheduled games. The 22 teams that do not make the quarterfinals will play games on December 6 and 8 to fulfill their schedule. The eight teams that advance to the knockout round will have their elimination games as part of the 82-game schedule. The losing quarterfinal teams will play each other on December 8 to fulfill their 82 games.

East Group A: Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons
East Group B: Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Washington Wizards, Charlotte Hornets
East Group C: Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, Chicago Bulls, Orlando Magic
West Group A: Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers
West Group B: Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets
West Group C: Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs
