Lilo The Corgi Is Teaching Baby Koa To Ball Like A Champ!

TikTik famous Lilo the corgi has some serious competition now - her human brother Koa.

Or maybe Lilo is building her very own basketball team. However you look at it, the sweet basketball loving pup has been teaching her human brother to be a worthy opponent. In a series of adorable videos shared on social media, Koa shows off his newly found basketball skills.

In a newly shared video on social media, Lilo’s owner, Denny Ku, shows off the balling talent in his home. 

Captioned, “My name is Koa and I am declaring for the 2042 NBA Draft ?? #BabyFaceAssassin. We know it’s an uphill battle and the odds aren’t in Asian Americans favor, but I see nothing but lottery picks in your NBA Future young one,” the video shows little Koa flawlessly making basket after basket, similar to how Lilo does. 

Words on the video read, “This baby is only 9 months and is already a crawling bucket.” Looks like Lilo might have a partner for a fun 1-v-1 game! Or maybe Lilo is training Koa to be on his team. Whatever the outcome, it’s cuteness overload for sure. 

Fans of the page had a lot to say about the adorable basketball duo. And “Lilo” even commented saying, “Obviously gets the shooting form from me and not the dad. ???” Looks like Lilo wants some credit for Koa’s amazing sporting ability. 

“He’s not even looking where he’s throwing and still scores!!?!?! WHAT???!!” one person wrote. Another said, “How does a corgi and a baby have better basketball skills than me ? we will watch your career with great interest. ?”

Another fan pointed out, “WHAT IS GOING ON! I was impressed enough with the pup— now the baby too? Are you a magician???????”

In another recently shared video, we get to see the baby’s POV while playing fetch with Lilo. If Koa’s laughter doesn’t make you want to laugh or smile, nothing will! The sweetest sound of a baby's laughter while playing fetch with his pup makes you want to watch it over and over. 

The two also play basketball tic-tac-toe together in the cutest way.  A video shows a game 3 matchup after Lilo had dominated in the first two games. Will Koa redeem himself in game 3? (Spoiler alert! Yes, Koa wins the final round!)

Ku (or maybe Lilo) hopped into the comments to say, "Baby is savage for the last shot ??."

"Has Lilo finally met her match?" one follower wrote. Another added, "I like how he waves his arms after he shoots it."

Lilo, also nicknamed “Steph Furry” because she’s a bucket, has been predicting sports event winners pretty accurately for a while. She correctly predicted the Denver Nuggets to win the 2023 NBA Championship. And lately, she’s been hard at work predicting other upcoming events - FIFA Women’s World Cup, NFL season predictions, some other events. 

Knowing that Lilo is famous for predicting who will win specific sporting events, we have to wonder if Ku is training Koa to do the same. If so, this upcoming NBA and NFL season will be a fun time in their house!
