The "Edge of Seventeen" singer's likeness as been thought to be emulated in the titular character from "Daisy Jones and the Six," the bestselling 2019 novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The BookTok sensation tells the story of one band's rise and fall in the 1970's through 'interviews' conducted with the band decades later. The novel was adapted earlier this year for Amazon Prime, helping bring Daisy and her bandmates to life!
Riley Keough brought Daisy to life, along with actor Sam Claflin and musician Suki Waterhouse. Claflin and Waterhouse's characters bore a resemblance to Nicks' close confidents during her years in Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood Mac has been thought to serve as inspiration for The Six.
Nicks took to her Instagram on Tuesday afternoon not only to reveal she has seen the show which premiered in March, but also gave it her seal of approval!

"I wanted to be in London; I wanted to get to London- but we were told to wait. So since Saturday, one song has been swirling around in my head, over and over and over. I thought I might possibly get to sing it to her, and so I am singing it to her now..." Nicks detailed. She goes on to reveal the special song was "Hallelujah" by HAIM, from their latest album.
