"Daisy Jomes & The Six" author Taylor Jenkins Reid is gearing up to welcome her grandchild!

Wait, what? Jenkins Reid is actually eons away from being a grandmother- she shares a young daughter with her husband Alex, a screenwriter- so, what does she mean?

The author and BookTok sensation took to her Instagram on Friday to share some snaps from the Amazon Prime series adaptation of "Daisy Jones & The Six." Jenkins Reid has been extremely hands-on in the series' development, and she expressed her elation to soon be able to witness Daisy and her sidekicks come to life on the small screen!

The Lowdown On 'Daisy Jones & The Six!'

The Blast has covered several elements of Daisy Jones' highly-anticipated transition from page to screen!

Jenkins Reid's books have gained legions of fans through their immense popularity on TikTok's book sector, BookTok! Her 2017 novel "The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo" has also been adapted for the screen; Netflix has adapted the critically-acclaimed novel into a film!

Actress and the head of the Hello Sunshine production company, Reese Witherspoon, was extremely captivated by Jenkins Reid's "Daisy Jones & The Six" upon reading it; "Hello Sunshine" helped produce the Amazon Prime adaptation.

In December, the streaming service released the first teaser trailer for the show, which stars notable names Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, and Suki Waterhouse.

The chance to bring the story of Daisy and her bandmates to life has clearly been a high point for the cast!

Keough, 33, provided a glimpse into the cast's genuinely close relationship to Vanity Fair when she spoke about their special once-in-a-lifetime chemistry.

"I think that when you love each other in the way that we do, it comes across on screen, you know? That's why I'm excited for people to see because that is authentic, you know? It was a joyous experience. And it was something I really needed in my life at that time. I wanted to make something that made me feel joy," she told the publication. (per The Blast)

Taylor Jenkins Reid Pays Tribute To Her Brainchild!

Jenkins Reid is quite thrilled to see the bond of her characters translate to screen!

She has documented several bits of "Daisy Jones & The Six''s promotion, including its soundtrack; the soundtrack acts as an adaptation of Daisy Jones and the Six's blockbuster record, "Aurora."

According to Town and Country Magazine, the series will also feature an additional 24 original songs, featuring vocals from the cast.

Of the album, Jenkins Reid said, "We finally have 'Aurora.' A stunning, nostalgic, timeless album that captures the drama, pathos, and yearning of the band's zenith and nadir all in one. A snapshot of time, intoxicating and dangerous. That delicious moment you know can't last... Daisy Jones and the Six are real. And they are better than my wildest dreams," she concludes via statement.

Jenkins Reid shared an Instagram carousel of photos from the series' premiere, including a photo where she and Witherspoon are seen having a passionate conversation! Plenty of cast member shots on the black carpet are included, as well!

"I'm still buzzing this morning from the joy of getting to share this story and this world with such an incredible group of people," Jenkins Reid writes in her caption. "It took a lot of writers, directors, actors, musicians, costume designers, set designers, producers, executives, and so many more to make this show as outstanding as it is- and I loved the opportunity to celebrate them," she continued. "I've said before that if this book is my child, then the adaptation is my grandchild. Very proud of my grandchild tonight. Can't wait for you to see her," Jenkins Reid concludes.

The familial love was ever-present in Jenkins Reid's comment section!

The official Instagram for Hello Sunshine commented, "We love your child and grandchild!"

The official account for the series commented, "The world is ready!"

Author Kristin Hannah had nothing but love for her fellow writer! Hannah commented, "big congratulations @tjenkinsreid!"

The Amazon Prime TV adaptation will be released on the platform on March 3rd! Episodes will be dropped in installments, with the season finale being released on March 24th. (via Esquire)
