DaBabyallegedly sucker-punched a 65-year-old man after months of postponing. The victim no longer wants to wait anymore.
DaBaby Abused The Elderly
The rapper is known to fly off the handle at times, so, it’s no surprise that he is being sued for assault by an older man who claims the rapper hauled off and punched him out of nowhere on the unofficial set of a music video shoot.
DaBaby has been demanding the last few months that the trial be pushed back. He is busy and can’t seem to make it to court. But the victim has had enough; he wants the criminal case to proceed as soon as possible for all this can be resolved.
The lawsuit stems back to 2021,; the defendant named in the legal docs is Gary Pagar, who wants “justice.” Pager wants the respect he and his home deserves.
Yes, This Is Over A Property
In the civil lawsuit, Pagar claims that he rented his home located in Los Angeles to the rapper and his crew. But almost immediately, DaBaby allegedly broke the rules. One rule was that no more than 12 people could be on the property simultaneously.
Chances are, this older man did not know who the rapper was because DaBaby, who rolls with an entourage, had more than 12 people on the property. DaBaby was also staying at home while shooting the video there.
When Pagar became aware that more than 12 people were on the property, he went over to his property and found 40 people at the home. He confronted DaBaby and demanded people leave the house.
That did not go over well for Pagar.
DaBaby ‘Slap the S**t Out Of’ Gary Pagar
As he brags about in his hit “Suge,” DaBaby allegedly slapped the dog s**t out of Pagar, he also allegedly spit on him and chased him around the home. They argued back and forth,, which led to the punch, according to witnesses speaking up.
DaBaby punched several of Pagar’s teeth out of his mouth and threatened him not to call the police, according to the legal docs. Pagar accused the rapper and his friends of trashing the home and causing much damage.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged DaBaby with felony battery, and for months, the rapper’s legal team has been finding reasons to postpone the trial. DaBaby claims he would be forced to invoke the fifth amendment during questioning in the civil case unless it was delayed due to another issue for which he could get in trouble.
Numerous Eyewitnesses Help Gary Pagar
The victim is sick and tired of waiting. He says he was “brutally assaulted and battered”. Pagar also says “numerous eyewitnesses who were huddled around Pagar and [DaBaby] at the time know that fact to be true.,” that he was assaulted.
“The whole incident is also evidenced by several videos—taken on cell phones by eyewitnesses,” Pagar revealed in a motion that a fellow real estate agent Patrick Michael testified that he saw DaBaby assault Pagar that day. He testified that the rapper “sucker-punched” his friend, the homeowner.
DaBaby has a bad track record when it comes to public fights. He allegedly physically attached the brother of his baby mama DaniLeigh in the middle of a messy child support and custody battle.
