The SAG-AFTRA strike which has been a shocking disruption to the American television and film industry continues to unveil Hollywood's dirty labor secrets.

The ongoing labor dispute strike seemingly motivated journalist Kaila Yu's recent take on Teigen's past Hollywood experience. On her Instagram page, the former singer shared a video detailing Teigen's plight in the "Fast & Furious" franchise.

In the clip, Yu revealed the former briefcase model on the "Deal or No Deal" game show had auditioned for a role in "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." However, when her scene came up, her face had been cut out of the 2006 movie.

According to the Utah native, she, alongside 200 people, found themselves waiting in a parking garage, seated on the floor. Despite the unideal situation that presumably brought more inconveniences, Teigen was chosen from the crowd. However, only her exposed body made the cut.

"My boobs are in fast and the furious Tokyo drift. I sat on the floor with 200 people in a parking garage in downtown la," the mother of four revealed. "They pulled me to be 'girl getting out of car,' and the shot ended up cutting off at my face as they panned up my body. Lmao."

Yu shared the scene in her post, showing the "All of Me" music video vixen stepping out of a vehicle in a black bodycon. The camera focused on the TV personality's cleavage sticking out of her pink bra before panning to show her thighs.

The journalist described the moment as "crazy," stressing that Teigen's face should not have been excluded as she is a "beautiful supermodel." Surprisingly the former Nylon Pink vocalist and Japanese actress Aiko Tanaka were in the same scene, but they received the proper spotlight.

Fans had mixed reactions to the revelation, noting they never knew the "Bring the Funny" judge had appeared in the movie. Some claimed the selling point was the model's body, while others debated the reason behind her exclusion.

"They cut her face out as she's meant to be Japanese in the movie," a person claimed, while another argued it was all part of the job. The individual wrote, "No lie, I understand Chrissy Teigen being that nerded out, lol. Work is work, and being able to be recognized is awesome. Though I'm sure, she would've appreciated it if they showed her face."

The 2023 Emmy Award Ceremony Was Postponed Due To The Ongoing Strike

As the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and SAG-AFTRA fight against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) over labor conditions, this year's Emmy Award show has been postponed until further notice.

The 75th annual ceremony was scheduled for September 18 and would have been broadcasted on the FOX Network. However, the Television Academy moved the event due to the ongoing strike.

Regarding the new date, insiders claimed the program would take place once the WGA and SAG-AFTRA guilds reach an agreement with the AMPTP. Even if showrunners wished to ignore the strike and host the show, there was a high possibility of zero attendance.

The same regulations applied to the WGA as their writers were responsible for providing the content used by the ceremony's hosts and presenters. Despite the postponement, sources claimed the Television Academy would host Phase 2 of the voting process for Emmy nominees from August 17.
