Rihanna Had Plan in Place for Slick Woods' Baby During NYFW, Stayed by Model's Side During Labor

Supermodel Slick Woods was well taken care of when she went into labor in the middle ofRihanna's NYFW show because RiRi personally took extra precaution to ensure there was a protocol in place and helped to coordinate the birthing efforts when it all went down.
Sources close to the planning tell The Blast Rihanna's team contacted NYFW production officials ahead of her Brooklyn show to ensure that Woods, and another pregnant model, had personal handlers on-site to look after their health. Production was also instructed to have an ambulance ready to go in case either of the models went into labor.
In fact, we're told the NYFW team asked their event medical service specialists, ParaDocs, to bring in extra paramedics from the company for the Savage X Fenty lingerie show to tend to the pregnant women.
During Rihanna's show, backstage sources tell us Woods had a paramedic specifically assigned to her for the night, and was checking for contractions and other signs of labor to make sure mama and baby were both safe.
We're told the second she stepped off the runway, Woods knew something was wrong and was rushed into Rihanna's dressing room by her paramedic. Security made sure the crew and show models, including Gigi and Bella Hadid, gave Woods room and allowed her to be checked out.
Rihanna, however, came to the model's side almost immediately and stayed with her while Woods was evaluated. Realizing the supermodel was in labor, her paramedic immediately put Woods into the waiting ambulance and rushed to the hospital.

We're told the 22-year-old model was so appreciative for the help, she even reached out to the company the day after giving birth to specifically thank her personal paramedic for the help.
As The Blast reported, Slick and her husband announced the birth of their baby boy, Saphir, just one day after walking in Rihanna's show.
We reached out to ParaDocs Worldwide for comment, but were told they were unable to speak on the situation.
Now that's a labor story Woods and Rihanna are going to be telling for years to come!
