Angelina Pivarnick reportedly called the police on her fiancé Vinny Tortorella just months after their engagement aired on television.

The 37-year-old is said to have reached out to law enforcement at her residence in Freehold, New Jersey, which she shares with her 34-year-old fiancé after they had a heated exchange.

The couple got engaged in April, with an episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" capturing the moment when Tortorella shocked Pivarnick by proposing to her in front of everyone attending the party she threw in honor of the finalization of her divorce from Chris Larangeira.

Confirming the incident, her attorney, James Leonard Jr., stated that the matter had been resolved and requested privacy for Pivarnick. In a statement shared with the outlet, he wrote:

"I can confirm that Angelina did in fact call the police to her home. After speaking with the officers, Angelina decided not to file charges. "This matter is now closed. Moving forward, Angelina would ask for privacy as it pertains to her personal life."

Similarly, Tortorella's attorney informed the publication that he and his partner remain engaged in spite of the drama, noting:

"My client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and are still residing together. Mr. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would warrant police involvement and denies any act of domestic violence occurred. No charges have been pressed against my client by Ms. Pivarnick or law enforcement. I ask that his privacy be respected in this regard."

Offering further clarification on the issue, one source claimed, "Angelina and Vinny are still engaged and are still very much in love with one another and they are both actively filming 'Jersey Shore' Season 7 that will air in the fall." During their dreamy proposal, Tortorella had partially gushed:

"If there's anything beyond life, I want us to love each other, do everything — good, bad, little, big — I'll always have your back, I know you'll have my back," he continued. "I want to grow old with you, I want to experience everything with you. I wouldn't want to experience it with anyone else — together, as one."

As for her first marriage to Larangeira, The Blast reported in July 2021 that Picvarnick had secretly filed for divorce from him earlier that year, making their marriage status unknown.

Though shocking, it would not be the first time that the couple's marriage hit a rock. One insider declared that they had originally broken up in November 2020 and later reconciled. As they said:

"She and him are very involved but they butt heads very often, you never know if they're going to be in a good place or upset with each other."

Their marriage had even started on a rough patch, with Pivarnick falling out with her co-stars JWoww and Snooki after they traded jokes about the bride while at her wedding. Following the incident, the "Double Shot Love" guest had explained:

"My thing is, I forgive too many people too quickly. I'm going to stop doing that, so for 2020, that's also a new thing. I'm going to keep my circle way smaller, you know? I think right now, all I need is my husband and my family and his family."

After expressing how "distraught" her then-husband was and how she "was acting like" she "was okay with this," the New York-born superstar added, "I saw his face and I snapped because I know my husband and I know the look in his eyes. I just couldn't hold it back anymore. I was also mad, don't get it twisted."

Additionally, Pivarnick and Larangeira decided not to publicly address the divorce filing, fueling speculation about if they were still together or if the legal case had started.
