"Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum Cynthia Bailey is getting candid about her outlook on romance amid her second divorce

The former peach holder gave fans a treat on Sunday night's episode of "RHOA" season 15 by attending Kandi Burruss' sex toy party and meeting her for dinner at "Blaze Steak and Seafood," where they got down to the tea of everything going on in their lives and filled each other in.

In the conversation, the new singleton opened up about the split from her ex-husband Mike Hill — a well-known talk show host at FOX Sports — and admitted to still believing in a life full of love.

Cynthia Bailey Opens Up About Her Divorce From Mike Hill

The last time viewers saw Bailey on the series, she was still basking in her second marriage to Hill, and it was all love for the man she married in 2020. However, the former model was in a different frame of mind while chatting with the singer-songwriter. She revealed she is now back in the ATL "rebuilding [her] life" after the separation.

Although Bailey noted to Burruss that she wasn't ready to speak much on her fresh divorce — which she filed two years after their marriage in 2022 — she was able to share some insights when she said:

"You know it just sucks when — you know, this is my second divorce, and it's like, 'Wow.' On one hand, I don't want to stay in something if I'm not happy. But then, you know, I wake up, and the reality is, I'm a 55-year-old woman, and it's like, 'All right, damn,' you know?"

"The split was feeling like a new page — but not necessarily in a good way," the Bailey Agency owner said. "So here I am, starting all over again. I am very disappointed that my marriage did not work out. God is moving my steps, even if it's away from my last marriage," she continued.

Regardless of the painful loss and heartbreak, it hasn't changed the 55-year-old's viewpoint on her happy ending. She told Burress, "I'm a Pisces, so it's like, I'm always gonna live for love."

Speaking of ex-husbands, when she and Hill made known their plans to separate in October 2022, Bailey's ex-husband Peter Thomas, whom she was married to from 2010 to 2017, reached out and opened a noteworthy dialogue with her, as noted by The Blast.

At last year's BravoCon, the reality TV star was cornered into answering questions about her divorce. She was asked how she was dealing with everything, specifically if she had heard from Thomas. "Peter reached out to me," she admitted. "He said he just wishes me the best. He told me I was a queen and that I deserve the best, so that was really, really nice."

Her ex-hubby's extended hand of friendship was adorable, considering their relationship ended sourly. During that time, the "How High 2" actress was bittered about Thomas having numerous failed businesses and struggling to pay back the money he borrowed from her to keep his sinking bar and lounge afloat.

About six months after Bailey announced her separation from Hill, she made headlines again by providing updates on her love life. The outspoken star detailed her experience with the dating scene since she returned. She said she struggles with finding someone her age.

Bailey pointed out that although men nearly half her age expressed interest in going on dates with her, she found it uncomfortable due to the significant age gap. As she put it, "She could almost be their mother."

She described her first-hand experience using the exclusive dating app Raya, which only approves 8% of applications, as "hot and cold." Bailey said:

"I have always been transparent about my age. My real age is on there. I am leaning to a guy somewhat in my age category. What I am finding is the older guys want the younger women. And the younger guys want the older women, but I don't know what that means to me?"

Despite adjusting to the new dating rules in the digital age, she expressed, "I'm a huge communicator, and texting just doesn't hit the same spot as just picking up the phone and calling me." She then cheekily encouraged anyone interested in dating her to step up and try to call her and show up in person.
