Last summer, Disney Cruise Line moved its internet packages offered on board from a data-usage pricing structure to a day-based pricing structure. According to Scott Sanders of Disney Cruise Line Blog, Disney Cruise Line will be rolling out new pricing for the internet packages offered across all of its ships.

Currently, three internet packages are offered on the Disney Cruise Line ships, all of which will see a price increase.

The Stay Connected Package allows Guests to access social media for either $18 per day, purchased by the day, or $16 per day for the length of the cruise. Last year, this package was offered for $12 per day or $10 per day for the size of the cruise, meaning this is an increase of 50-60%.

Disney's Newest Ship - The Disney Treasure

Disney Reveals TWO Iconic Characters Will Be On The Disney Treasure Ship
Disney

Disney Cruise Line currently has five ships in its fleet — The Disney Dream, the Disney Magic, the Disney Fantasy, the Disney Wonder, and the Disney Wish — but soon, a sixth will join as Disney prepares to debut the Disney Treasure.

Construction for the Disney Treasures began in January 2023, and Disney Cruise Line's newest ship is set to set sail in 2024 officially.

Every Disney Cruise Line ship has an iconic character on its stern. Sorcerer Mickey is the stern character in Disney Dreams, while Goofy is in Disney Magic. Donald Duck can be found on Disney Wonder, with Dumbo being the character on Disney Fantasy's Stern.

Rapunzel was the latest character to join the ship's fleet as she appears on the Disney Wish.

As Disney continues constructing the Disney Treasures, the company has revealed who will be on the ship's stern. Two iconic characters, Peter Pan and Captain Hook, will be the face of the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, which makes sense due to its name — the Disney Treasure.

"Today, the Disney Cruise Line team is thrilled to be debuting an artist rendering of the ship's stern for the first time!' Disney Parks Blog reported. "For 25 years, each ship in the fleet has been adorned with characters from beloved Disney stories. The Disney Treasure will follow this tradition with signature character sculptures that honor the ship's motif of adventure, Peter Pan and Captain Hook."

Their report continues, "Harnessing the power of Tinker Bell's pixie dust, Peter Pan will levitate next to the Disney Treasure to add the finishing touch to the ship's stern filigree. Meanwhile, Peter Pan's longtime rival, Captain Hook, can be seen leaning out a porthole with a vengeful expression. Paintbrush and paint bucket in hand, Peter Pan sports a mischievous grin as he glances back at Captain Hook, who is dripping in yellow paint."

The Disney Treasure will take inspiration from "classic ocean liners of the early 20th century with a modern flair" and set sail in 2024. It is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
