Jessie J, who recently welcomed her first child with partner Chanan Safir Colman in May, took to her Instagram Stories to share the realities of caring for a newborn while her partner was away. She admitted feeling exhausted due to three consecutive sleepless nights of solo parenting.

Capturing her son Sky asleep in his cot, Jessie revealed that the absence of sleep had left her feeling more tired than ever before, writing, "'Legit haven't slept in three days. Daddy away so all me. And he has turned into a snoring gremlin clarinet. Help."

The 35-year-old singer then extended her support to other single parents in another post, acknowledging the efforts it takes to care for a child. She wrote, "Hugging all the mums and Dads doing it alone right now. Delusional, exhausted, and doing your best. You the MVP." 

In a lighthearted tone, she even mentioned making mistakes due to sleep deprivation, like accidentally feeding her son the bottle lid.

On Wednesday, Jessie J offered a candid glimpse into her motherhood journey by playfully engaging with her breast pumps. The "Price Tag" hitmaker didn't shy away from embracing this new accessory, which she described as "life-changing."

She shared her enthusiasm while dancing around the room, holding her baby Sky. Jessie expressed her genuine endorsement for the product from women's health and beauty brand Elvie, saying, "I don't do ads often (if ever tbh) as you all know. But I do when I actually use and love a product."

She playfully acknowledged the empowering feeling of wearing the breast pumps, humorously comparing herself to a superhero. "People look at me and I'm like 'Yep I got [robot emoji] t*ts,'" she joked.

Addressing the practicality of using them, the "Masterpiece" singer highlighted the convenience of being able to use them anywhere, which has become a real lifesaver during daily activities.

"I never knew before now how amazing and beautiful but hard and tiring pumping and breastfeeding can be on your body, sleep, and day-to-day life. I am a mover, a non-sit stiller, a hands-on kinda lady," she explained.

"Being able to whip them out and put them on anywhere and everywhere is a LIFE saver. Shopping, eating out, even at the doctor these things get used everywhere I go," she added.

On Tuesday, Jesse J addressed body shamers, using her Instagram Story to respond to comments about her post-childbirth physique.

The singer acknowledged that she's heard people commenting on her body changes after confidently showing off her 'side rolls' a week ago. Putting the matter to rest, she shared that she has no intention of going back to her pre-pregnancy body, stating that it's a thing of the past and emphasized her desire to move forward with her body's changes, stating, "I don't want to go back, that body is gone. I want my body to go forward. I'm getting my body forward."

The new mother further encouraged her 13.6 million followers to adopt a positive relationship with their own bodies, emphasizing self-love and acceptance. She concluded with a message to embrace and celebrate their bodies, writing, "That's the vibe ladies. Embrace that bowdddddy!"

In early May, Jessie J and her basketball player boyfriend welcomed their son Sky, marking a significant moment in their one-year relationship.

Jessie announced the joyful arrival on Instagram, expressing the transformative impact her child had on her life. She described the feeling as indescribable and emphasized her profound love for her son, writing, "A week ago my whole life changed. My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love."

She continued, "He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world]. He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can't believe he is real, here and mine."

The singer also thanked her followers for their continuous support throughout her journey.

Notably, Jessie J's journey to motherhood had its challenges. She made her pregnancy announcement in January, 13 months after she experienced a devastating miscarriage in November 2021. At the time, she expressed her deep desire to become a mother, saying it is "all I have ever wanted."
