RHOC Bad Boy Elder Abuse Allegations Exposed In New Lawsuit

Real Housewives of Orange Countystar Jennifer Pedanti’s boyfriend Ryan Boyajian doesn't just act like that on TV.

The OC boyfriend of Jennifer Pedanti was hit with a lawsuit from a man accusing him of running his life. The 82-year-old man named Gordon Barienbrock sued Boyajian “elder financial abuse.” In the court docs obtained by Radar Online the reality star’s lawyer says:

“This was a real-estate deal that Ryan was involved in and he got out of the deal as quickly as he could when he found out this 86-year-old guy was a subject of a federal indictment. Ryan wanted out of the deal immediately when he found out he was dealing with a person like that. Then he sued Ryan.”

This whole thing was apparently over the purchase of a home, well, the purchase that fell through.

The entrepreneur allegedly agreed to purchase the home in 2018 from the elderly man. It was a 16.1-acre residential parcel that was on the market for a shocking $7.9 million.  Boyajian allegedly agreed to pay the purchase price by December 31, 2020.

Barienbrock said the reality star had plans to turn the large, single-family residence into seven separate and individual residential lots. But when the deal fell through, Boyajian also failed to pay the $926k lien on the property that he requested was placed on the home in the first place “to provide protection.”

Seeing as Ryan didn’t hold up his end of the bargain, there was legal backlash for Barienbrock who ended up having to deal with the Federal Trade Commission with matters unrelated to the property.

The lien allowed the FTC to come in and try to take the home and freeze certain assets. When Barienbrock was found not at fault all claims against him were released but still, Boyajian would not close escrow and refused to remove the lien.

The 82-year-old said his actions are blocking him “from being able to sell this property, pay off debt, and obtain the funds which the sale would generate to meet other obligations and to provide comfort in his remaining years.”

The lawsuit went on to call out Boyajian, writing, “This blatant refusal by Boyajian and the other Defendants to honor the express terms of the Agreement has resulted in the commission by Boyajian and the other Defendants of elder financial abuse and their joint and several liability for substantial damages, as alleged.”

The older gentleman has stated that he can’t sell his home and has incurred a million dollars in cost.

The new Bravo boyfriend filed off his own lawsuit accusing his former partner of being “a notorious real estate swindler who has had brushes with the law for decades.” Thankfully, Pedanti hasn’t been dragged into this mess.
