Gigi Hadid Has Fans In Awe Of How Grown Daughter Khai Is In 'Best Of Summer' Pics

Gigi Hadid is opening up her world and taking her fans on a colorful journey on how she and her two-year-old daughter Khai spent the summer. 

The supermodel, who welcomed her first child in September 2020 and shares her toddler with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, has been very protective of her daughter and hardly posts her pictures on social media.

However, feeling gracious and fulfilled, Hadid gave a rare glimpse at her child's appearance to the delight of the public.

The mom of one, who has been trending these days for not-so-glamorous reasons following her arrest in the Cayman Islands, entertained her supporters by showcasing her fancy lifestyle with her daughter in her country house.

Taking to her Instagram page, the model posted a carousel of photos of herself and her tot enjoying life and nature over the past few months. Captioning the post, "Best of Summer! ????," the mother and daughter duo were captured spending time with each other and carrying out several activities.

In one of the slides, Hadid was seen standing in front of two black and brown horses, playing with them. She wore a floral dress paired with comfortable slippers. Another slide showed the model and her daughter Khai taking a rest on a wooded bench after getting their footwear muddy from walking on the wet ground.

The pair also got busy on the family farm, picking out blueberries and putting them in a blue container. In a different frame, Hadid flaunted her perfectly trimmed body, wearing a purple patterned bikini as she collected vegetables from her garden.

Another cute snap showed the doting mother serving her child lunch on a kickboard in the pool area of their luxurious home. The following picture proved that Hadid was indeed a supermodel and fashionista.

Styling up her daughter, she dressed her in a tye-dye shirt and ripped jeans with a smiley face patch. The outfit was paired with checkered rainboots designed with bows on them. 

The mother and daughter duo also enjoyed a boat ride, cruising along the water while watching ducks float on it. Dressing up her daughter again, she dolled her in a purple top and a tulle skirt paired with neon shoes. As for the toddler's long brown hair, half of it was packed in a cute messy bun.

Enjoying treats and eating sweet foods, Hadid posted a snap of pancakes with M&Ms on top, ready to be devoured by the pair. They also savored a pink ice cream bar.  As expected, her post amassed over one million likes, and fans trooped to the comments section to gush about how Khai had grown up. 

One fan exclaimed, "SHE'S SO BIG ALREADY?? HER HAIR???" Another remarked, "Khai is growing so fast ?‍?." A third fan agreed, "She has grown so much ?." One admirer penned, "CANT BELIEVE HOW BIG LIL KHAI IS ❤️."

A fifth commenter added, "Your little girl is getting so big! ?." "Can't believe how big she is! Feels like she was born yesterday ??," expressed another fan. Another commenter marveled, "KHAAIII???? THIS TALL ALREADY OMG."

Aside from Hadid relishing the beautiful things of life with her only child, she once admitted to ''learning through life'' with her daughter, who would be turning three years old in September.

The model explained in an interview with ELLE Magazine how her perspective changed on what she wanted her life to look like after she got pregnant with her daughter during the pandemic.

In her words, "I got pregnant, and I really started to think about what I wanted after when the world opened back up. It kept coming back to just a more stabilized schedule where I'm not in a different country every week."

She further described her work environment as "very stabilizing." Hadid added, "I have an office that I come to. I know everyone here. I don't have to look a certain way to show up. It's a different experience for me, and it was the right time because I was ready for that."

The doting mom continued by noting how important it was to be conscious of her movement, adding that her daughter watched her everyday routine — whether they were at home, on a shoot, or anywhere else.

The model remarked, "She obviously sees me in every state and way, and whether she knows it or not, I'm going through and learning through life with her. I think that she has a really realistic kind of 24/7, around-the-clock view. We're up chatting in the middle of the night if she's up; we're talking about, I don't know, random stuff, but it's fun."  

Hadid sweetly concluded, "Having a daughter, although it shifted my life to make me really want to feel more settled, has also really made me appreciate the chaos as well. Being at shows and shoots and just being in the city again; being around friends [after] becoming a mom, with everyone also coming out of COVID—I have an appreciation for both sides of it."
