Jodie Sweetin is over the moon on her first wedding anniversary!
After three failed marriages, the actress best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner in the hit comedy series "Full House" has come to appreciate finding true love in the arms of her fourth husband, Mescal Wasilewski. She marked their first wedding anniversary with an emotional message posted to social media, confessing that she never expected to feel more intensely about him now than before.

In case you missed it, Sweetin and Wasilewski started their romance in 2017, with the actress doing a soft launch of the relationship on social media in January 2018. The following month, she used a sweet Valentine's Day tribute to make things Instagram official.
Years later, she and the clinical social worker have marked their first year of marriage. Taking to her Instagram, the "Yes, Dear" star uploaded three images, with the first two highlighting their July 30, 2022, wedding day and the third being a selfie of the couple.
They both donned baseball caps, Sweetin in a blue one and her man in a black one, and dark sunglasses as they posed in front of a river. Beneath the adorable snaps, the "All-New Mickey Mouse Club" actress wrote:
"I didn't know it was possible to love you more. But then, i wake up a new day and it happened again. It's a big weekend for us, our 1st anniversary and your birthday. Today, I'm celebrating you. (Even though you hate the attention) And the wonderful things you've brought to my life and the amazing journeys we have yet to go. I love you. So, so much."
She finished by tagging the shop she got her dress from, Lili Bridals, adding, "(on a personal note, I've never felt more beautiful than I did on this day!!)."
Within hours, her comment section had filled up with expressions of happiness and joy from fans who could not believe how quickly time had passed.
One person exclaimed, "A year already?!?! How?!? Happy Anniversary! And we got our wedding dresses at the same shop!" A second fan commented, "Happy Anniversary to you both!!! We love you!!!."
A third commenter shared, "I can't believe it's been a year!! 🤯 Happy Anniversary;)) And you're welcome for the "15 minute speech" 🤣🤣 Love you guys." "Wow! One year!!! Such a beautiful day!!" a fourth netizen added, as a fifth claimed, "Seeing you happy is the best lewk."
Besides marrying the love of her life, another thing that made her wedding day was feeling the presence of her late "Full House" co-star and actor Bob Saget. As reported by The Blast, she spoke on the occurrence during an interview in August 2022 where she recalled:
"John [Stamos] was getting ready to leave the house, I guess, and [his wife] Caitlin [McHugh] looked at him and was like, 'You can't wear that shirt. That shirt's not working. It doesn't look good.' He's like, 'Ugh, fine.'"
Sweetin revealed that even though Stamos went in to change, he realized that his new choice of shirt "was this black button-up that Bob would always wear" when he returned to the car. At that point, she was overwhelmed by emotions, so she hugged the "General Hospital" actor and said, "Bob's here too."
The TV Land Award Nominee Has No Problem Returning To The Series That Shot Her To The Limelight
In April 2022, Sweetin disclosed that she was open to partaking in another "Full House" spin-off following its Netflix reboot titled "Fuller House." Speaking to Loni Love and Justin Sylvester about the potential of its return, the "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 contestant stated:
"Absolutely. I love working with them. It's like, 'Do you wanna go back and have fun and work with the people that you love, that you've known your whole life?' Of course!"
Despite Netflix's silence on reviving the sitcom's spin-off since it ended in 2020, the Young Artist Award recipient and her co-stars Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber already have an idea for a show brewing. "We always joke about our Golden Girls sort of future show. The three of us, living somewhere in Miami," she disclosed to that effect.
