How Khloe Kardashian Continues To Honor Tristan Thompson's Late Mom

The sweetheart of the Kardashian clan, Khloe Kardashian, extends her loving nature to Tristan Thompson's younger brother as he turns a year older, keeping true to the promise she made late Andrea Thompson.

The media personality, who shares two kids with her ex, Tristan, continues to keep close ties with the professional basketballer and maintains a cordial relationship with his family.

Notwithstanding that Tristan cheated on the mom of two multiple times, the pair seem to be getting along as they co-parent their two children and support each other.

Taking to her Instagram, the socialite doted on her baby daddy's younger brother, Amari, who recently turned 17. To celebrate the teenager who suffers from epilepsy, she posted a carousel of heartwarming photos featuring herself, the celebrant, her daughter, and other family members.

In the first slide, Amari and Khloe looked excited as they posed for the camera. He was seated in a wheelchair and was dressed in stylish attire consisting of a white T-shirt, a matching face cap, and a neutral color bandana.

Meanwhile, Khloe opted for a nude sleeveless skintight top paired with blue jeans. She accessorized her fit, wearing a two-piece silver necklace and fancy sunglasses. The blonde beauty styled her hair in a center part, allowing the wavy curls to cascade down her shoulders. The pair appeared to be chilling in her luxurious home as they lounged outdoors.

Also appearing in the snap was momager and businesswoman Kris Jenner. Jenner looked chic, wearing a pattern-printed button-up shirt paired with gold sunglasses. 

Adding a caption to the post, the "Good American'' founder sweetly penned, "Someone is 17 today!!!! Happy birthday sweet sweet Amari!!! We are all so blessed to have been touched by an angel such as you ? you are truly one of Gods greatest treasures ?."

As anticipated, fans trooped to the comments section to congratulate the birthday boy, while most commended Khloe for her selfless act. Leading the comment section was her sister, Kim Kardashian, who penned, "Happy Birthday Amari!!!" One fan hailed the mom of two, writing, "This speaks volumes on her as a person… the mom dies months ago and no one knew she took him in."

Another gushed, "Khloe is so loving. I love her even more for her unconditional love." A third commenter penned, "Khloe is my favorite ❤ she is such a genuinely sweet person no matter what someone has put her thru. I just hope Tristan appreciates and doesn't take advantage of her kindness"!

Khloe's sweet message to Amari comes weeks after it was revealed the mom of two welcomed Tristan and his younger brother to live with her in her house after their mom passed.

The surprising information was shared during a recent episode of "The Kardashians,'' when Khloe, alongside her mom, Jenner, and Kim, hopped on Kim's plane to Toronto to be with Tristan after he lost his mom in January.

Kim explained in a confessional, "Tristan found out that his mom had had a heart attack. It shook up his entire world. So of course we drop everything and we go to Toronto. It's not even a question, I'll be there."

Meanwhile, Khloe recalled receiving a call from the basketballer in which he was screaming into the phone and disclosed that Andrea [his mom] was ''gone.'' 

After noting that she spoke with Andrea nearly every day, the reality star added that the deceased was the sole caretaker for Amari. Following her unfortunate passing, Tristan was named Amari's legal guardian. 

Interestingly, the caring sisters, while putting Andrea's apartment in order, arranged to bring Amari to Los Angeles so that he could live with Tristan. However, plans had to be changed because Tristan's home, which was under construction, had the roof cave in following severe weather.

Due to the incident, Tristan and his brother temporarily moved in with her. Kim then asked Khloe amid the transition, "Isn't God just funny how you were so ready to have your year of being free and now Tristan had to move in with you, his little brother had to move in with you, his roof caved in, what are the chances"?

Responding to Kim, the mom of two remarked, "God does have a plan and God doesn't want him to be alone right now and why should he be"?

Khloe's bond with her ex-partner's sibling isn't completely unfounded given the close relationship she had with her children's grandmother before her tragic passing.

The Good American co-founder, who had a beautiful relationship with Andrea, was inconsolable after she found out her children's grandmother had passed on and dedicated a heartbreaking tribute to her.

She took to her Instagram to write a heartbreaking message alongside posting a series of photos featuring Andrea. "I have been avoiding this…. Avoiding accepting this is real. I have so much to say but nothing at all…. I have so many emotions and still I feel numb," Khloe wrote.

Describing how Andrea's death had affected the family as a whole, Khloe added that she missed her and would continue to miss her more and more every day.

The "KUWTK" ALUM, however, made a promise to be there for Tristan's younger brother. In her words, "Just know, I promise you, Amari will be perfectly ok. We will all look after him, help him and protect him. Your boys will be ok because they have their guardian Angel by their side."
