Trouble in paradise as Chase Chrisley confirms his separation from Emmy Medders.

Any hope of seeing the "Chrisley Knows Best" alum and the "Elegant Tans by Emmy" founder walk down the aisle any time soon was crushed with Chrisley's recent Instagram announcement.

The now-exes made their engagement public in October 2022, just months after reconciling following their 2021 split. However, even a diamond ring could salvage their almost four years of romance this time as they both "agreed to part ways."

After the pair scrubbed one another from their respective social media pages, eagle-eyed fans started speculating about their relationship status. Their concerns, therefore, prompted the television personality to share an update on his and Medders' decision to call it quits on his Instagram story on Tuesday, July 25. He wrote on a black background:

"Everybody has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself. We both agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy."

In the wake of this sad news, it appears that Chrisley and his siblings have also unfollowed the influencer, who has yet to address the split publicly. The news comes just nine months after the 27-year-old popped the question with a 3.5-carat oval diamond ring.

Although the twosome appeared like they were in it for the long haul by taking that big step, their whirlwind romance wasn't always at its finest. Per The Blast, Medders admitted that her relationship with Chrisley struggled through its fair share of "ups and downs," including "one major break."

She had joined her then soon-to-be sister-in-law, Savannah, on her "Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley" podcast to detail the shocking break-up she and her now ex-fiancè endured before getting engaged.

"We started talking right before COVID hit. It was on and off, and then we were doing really well, and then we did have one, like, major breakup where we didn't talk for like — I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks," she shared before acknowledging that "it felt like two months for me."

The blonde beauty explained that the two continued to work on their relationship since they returned to each other, a move she swore made things "great" for them.

Emmy Medders Defends Her Reason For Removing All Her Tattoos

To address the drama she was receiving after posting the video, Medders shared a screenshot of all the common questions she was receiving and addressed all at once, writing:

"Lots of questions about my tattoos! I have two tattoos that I got when I was 21. The first tattoo was on my wrist, and it was my initials and my [brother's] initials. I thought it was super special, but honestly, it did NOT turn out how I imagined, so I would always wear bracelets to try to cover it up.:

The 26-year-old continued her thoughts and penned, "My second tattoo was a cross on my finger which I still think is super cute[.] I just don't want any ink on my body anymore. Y'all, there is no reason I'm getting these removed other than the fact that I'm just not a tattoo girly. I love them on other people[,] just not on me! That's all." She ended the message with a smiley face and waving hands emojis.

Still, some people genuinely wanted to know why she removed the tattoo and how she made the sometimes painful decision. The 26-year-old mentioned she attended Gentle Giant Care in Atlanta for her removal.

Medders looked like she had a little fun with the removal as she chose to play NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" as she responded to the questions and posted more stories.
