One of Doja's followers pointed out to her that she'd held a poll on Twitter to pick a name for her fans in 2020. The "Attention" rapper replied that she made that poll as an "alcoholic teen" and wrote, "My fans don't call themselves s**t."

Per the Daily Mail, Doja also recently criticized fans who called out her boyfriend, comedian Jeffrey Cyrus. The couple first revealed their relationship in November 2022 and were subsequently photographed kissing on a yacht.

Shortly after the photos circulated online, several people publicly accused Cyrus of sexual misconduct and grooming. According to Buzzfeed, the accusers shared screenshots of posts from Cyrus, where he references previous possible sexual assault he did.

Doja was upset about the criticism against her boyfriend and took to Twitter and Threads to clap back at fans. One tweet read, "I don't give a fuck what you think about my personal life."

The intense controversy with her fans is bad news for Doja's upcoming The Scarlet Tour. It'll likely affect ticket sales for the tour, which starts on Halloween night in San Francisco. When Doja unveiled the artwork for the show, it was quickly slammed as satanic and criticized by fans for the bloody theme.

Several Instagram followers of the rapper said the tour was a "sacrifice ritual" and "devil worship show" because of the bloody-themed artwork. One fan commented on Doja's post, "She looks like she just killed a bunch of kids," and another wrote, "Not going to devil worship show."

The "Addiction" singer's tour art was seemingly inspired by the 1976 horror classic "Carrie" by Brian DePalma. The controversial bloody nude photo of Doja will also be used for her upcoming album. Although she previously claimed the album would be called "Hellmouth," Doja later revealed it is actually titled "First of All."

Doja Cat Recently Revealed A New Haircut

Just last week, Doja revealed that she'd gotten a new haircut on her Instagram page. The rapper got a pink buzz cut and had a black spider painted on the back of her head. The hairdo by artist Jackie Bieber matches Doja's new tattoo of a bat skeleton on her back. The tattoo was done by celebrity tattoo artist Mr. K.

The controversy with her fans isn't the first time Doja's gotten into trouble on social media. The "Vegas" singer almost quit the music industry last year and has threatened to do so several times. The "Woman" rapper was also at the center of a major controversy after being seen in a far-right chat room mingling with allegedly racist men.
