It’s no news that Kim and Kourtney’s sisterly bond suffered a setback from their misunderstanding over a Dolce & Gabbana partnership. Amidst the drama between the two, the SKIMS founder is focusing on the sweeter times she had with her big sister.
Kim Kardashian Revisits Old Memories She Shared With Her Big Sister, Kourtney Kardashian
Although it wasn’t Thursday, the reality star was in the mood for some throwbacks as she revisited her old memories with her older sister. Kim uploaded on her Instagram an old image of her and her sister as young girls.
In the photo, Kim wore a yellow dress with pink strawberry designs, while Kourtney donned a pink polka dot dress. Kim, all excited, flashed a cute smile for the camera, while Kourtney wore a grin, revealing her missing front teeth.
“Cheeeeeeese,” Kim captioned the old snap, immediately gaining fans' attention. Within minutes, the comment section was filled with comments about the sibling’s bond and the resemblance between them and their kids.
One fan commented, “It's like looking at Chicago & Reign!” another added, “Omg, I see Penelope in Kourt.” A third fan gushed, “sisterly love,” while a fourth admirer referred to the sibling's fights. The admirer wrote, “Looking at it like that, it doesn’t seem like you two fight all the time.”
Kim and Kourtney recently hashed out their heated rift over Kim’s decision to partner with Dolce & Gabbana after the brand designed Kourtney's wedding dress. Fans would recall the fight, which made headlines aired on season three of their Hulu show, “The Kardashians.”
The “Kourtney And Khloe Takes Miami” alum accused her sister of using her wedding as a business opportunity. She said Kim didn’t tell her about the partnership until AFTER the deal with D&G was done and accused her of stealing her “Dolce Vita” lifestyle.
The budding Lawyer, on her part, denied that she tried to steal the spotlight from her older sister with her 2022 Milan Fashion Week collab. “I’m really confused how this narrative came into her head,” Kim expressed, adding that she was “mindful” of her sister’s connection with the Italian brand. “I said, ‘Don’t do anything that Kourtney wore to her wedding.’”
However, in a July 6 episode, the pair confronted each other about the misunderstanding. The 42-year-old Kardashian pointed out how her big sister also copied details from her 2014 nuptials to Kanye West. According to the mom of four, her sister copied her by tying the knot in Italy and getting Andrea Bocelli to perform at the union.

While the feud festered on between the famous sisters, Kourtney reportedly had plans to end her time on their family reality show. An informant close to the famous clan disclosed the “Kardashian Konfidential” co-author plans.
The insider highlighted the change was because the Poosh founder wanted to focus on her enlarging family. Recall that Mrs. Barker announced in June that she was expecting a son with the Blink-182 drummer.
The informant further stated that another reason for Kourtney’s decision was that she and the KKW Beauty founder weren’t on good terms. Commenting on the heated drama between the siblings, the insider expressed that the eldest Kardashian daughter wasn’t pleased with the show.
The informant said, “The drama and tension have been building for a while – Kim and Kourt just don’t get along right now, and Kourt is finding it too much hard work. She resents being dictated to by Kim and also thinks the show is so dull.”
Although Kourtney's disinterest in the show and her feud with the beauty entrepreneur would have been sufficient reasons to leave the Hulu hit show, the 44-year-old used her pregnancy as the golden ticket to her freedom.
Additionally, the informant claimed that Kourtney and her drummer Beau plan on starting their show that spotlights their lives as parents. “It's been on Kourt's mind for quite a bit now, her and Travis have their own plans - there's been talk about a show about their family and the new baby and doing something around parenting."
