Kelsea Ballerini Debuts New Hair After Successful 'Favorite Tour'

Kelsea Ballerini is saying goodbye to her signature brunette locks and hello to a choppy and chic wavy lob.

The daring change is a bold statement as she rides high on the success of her "Favorite Tour." From March 6, the star embarked on an exciting journey, captivating thousands of fans as she toured across various states, including Nevada, Utah, California, and Oregon. 

The 29-year-old unveiled her new look in an Instagram post on Saturday. The country star captioned the carousel of fun selfies and videos, "They say to get out with the old, you get in with the new ?." 

Giving a shoutout to Nashville hairstylist Marissa Martin, the singer smiled under the golden hour sun, revealing her fresh hairstyle gracefully framing her face and flowing down to her shoulders in the first shot. 

In another photo, her shoulder-length hair peeked out from under a baseball cap, and she also wore it tucked behind her ear in a follow-up snap. The Instagram post featured a variety of snapshots, showcasing glimpses of her daily life.

Among them, she was captured during a gym session, dressed in a pink sports bra and high-waisted leggings. Another slide showed her wearing sweats, sunglasses, and a white tank top, complete with a pendant necklace.

In a fun front-facing video, Ballerini playfully posed with cucumber slices under her eyes, revealing her long locks pulled back in a ponytail from before the hair transformation. The gallery also included images of her skincare routine and some delicious cookies. 

The "If You Go Down (I'm Goin' Down Too)" singer's boyfriend, Chase Stokes, commented, "I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm not fine ?." "The Hills" alum Kristin Cavallari also said, "Cute." 

The songwriter's new hairdo also left fans buzzing with admiration and excitement. "Kelsea cuts her hair. I cut my hair," one loyal devotee wrote, while another quipped, "love seeing you be your glowing happy self ✨." 

In celebration of her "Heartfirst" tour's conclusion on July 1, the "Love Me Like You Mean It" singer took to social media and shared captivating images and videos.

The first post showcased her in full glory, electrifying the stage in a tiny-strapped charcoal silver dress. It also featured some of her favorite moments, like the excitement of interacting with her audience.

The last slide was dedicated to her beau, capturing a heartwarming moment of them sharing a sweet hug during her performance. In the caption, she sweetly expressed, "Last show of my favorite tour I've ever done tonight. Phoenix, let's make it *legendary*." 

The "Greatest Hits" co-host went through a lot last year, including the end of her marriage to fellow singer Morgan Evans. Determined to move forward from what she described as a "sh**storm" of a year, she has learned to extend grace to herself. 

Ballerini revealed how she finds it challenging to navigate the public's scrutiny of her personal life. She shared, "I've done this for a decade. I've done the work. But the eyeballs on the rest of my life are new, so I'm giving myself a lot of grace."

The 2016 CMC Awards co-host emphasized its significance, especially considering the discoveries she has made about herself in recent years.

The "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" performer disclosed that she used to perceive herself in a certain way, a "glittery, palatable blonde that sings country music." Still, as she embraced her womanhood and delved deeper into self-discovery, she became more open to exploring different aspects of her identity. 

The "Hell's Kitchen" VIP guest diner could not help but gush about her bond with her partner, excitedly stating, "The thing that we've decided, and to each their own, is when you're with someone that you feel secure with and that you're proud to be with, why not share it?" 

Describing their connection, the "Songland" guest star shared that she and Stokes share many similarities, including both being Virgos. She playfully referred to them as "both Labrador Retrievers in human form," emphasizing their effortless understanding without needing "too much conversation to be on the same page."
