Tom Brady Reportedly Doesn't See Irina Shayk As A 'Fling' And 'Wants To Make It Work' With Her

Tom Brady and Irina Shayk are reportedly taking things seriously. The pair were first linked at a Sardinian wedding in May and have since gone on to form a tight connection.

A recent report has revealed that Brady doesn't see Shayk as a "fling" and "really wants to make this work." He was previously married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen, whom he split from in October 2022.

According to the Daily Mail, Brady is over the moon about his relationship with Shayk, whom he has seemingly moved on to after his divorce from Bundchen.

He first met the model during a Sardinian wedding, and the pair were recently spotted being flirty with each other.

A source described the former footballer's feelings towards Shayk, saying he "feels that they totally get each other, and he really finds her extremely interesting, entrepreneurial."

The same source noted that Brady appreciates her "clever sense of humor that really appeals to everything he is all about."

According to the insider, Brady doesn't see Shayk as a "fling," and "he really wants to make this work."

They added, "He really thinks very highly of her and where this relationship could go. He has zero worry with her, they seem to get each other and get along quite well."

Several speculations have been made about the nature of the duo's relationship in the past weeks after they met at Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick's wedding in May.

It was first alleged that Shayk had "scarcely let [Brady] out of her sight" at the Sardinian wedding, although she later denied it. 

However, they were later spotted together at his Los Angeles home on Saturday, cozying up to each other.

A source said about the duo: "They're dating and having fun. It was Tom who invited Irina to his home in LA after they really clicked in May." 

"They've been in touch ever since then, trying to line up schedules to meet. They have a lot of chemistry. They're excited to see where it goes but it's still early days."

Brady was previously married to supermodel Bündchen, with whom he shares two kids, Vivian and Benjamin. The two split sometime in October last year, announcing their decision via their Instagram pages at the time.

In his post, Brady said that the decision was "amicable" after "much consideration." He added, "Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. 

We wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written." 

Meanwhile, Bündchen posted something similar and noted that she and Brady had "grown apart."

"The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always," she penned.

While Brady has seemingly moved on with Shayk, it was also rumored that Bündchen has a new man in her life.

She has been seen on several occasions hanging out with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, which led to speculation that the pair are an item.

When Bündchen was asked about her connection with him in Vanity Fair's April issue, she gave a vague response. "I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I'm divorced, I'm sure that they're going to try to attach me to anything," the supermodel told the publication.

Bündchen went on to say that she has very high regard for Valente and enjoys having him around her children.

She said, "He's our teacher and, most importantly, he's a person that I admire and that I trust. It's so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy."
