Harry & Meghan Markle Ready To Leave Montecito After Celeb Friends Snub Them?!

Trouble in paradise Montecito, CA? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced a barrage of negative press as of late.

Rumors of a split and/or divorce began swirling earlier this summer Multiple reports alleged the couple have been “taking time apart,” with the “Spare” author planning to partake on a solo trip to Africa for a documentary.

Per a May report from The Sun, Harry allegedly has a private room “set aside” in a luxury hotel near his and Meghan’s Montecito home. This room is used when he needs alone time.

On the contrary, multiple Royal biographers have claimed reports of an impending divorce are untrue.

Investigative journalist and Royal biographer Tom Bower believes the couple could potentially take up separate, individual career projects.

"The last thing Harry would want would be a divorce," Bower recently told Ok! Magazine. "I’m sure he doesn’t want to come back to Britain."

Well, don’t speak so fast, because it appears the former Senior Royals may be moving from their California town of Montecito.

Many A-list celebrities and the elite of Hollywood live in the ritzy town, including, Ellen DeGeneres, Rob Lowe, Steven Spielberg, and many others.

According to Express, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eyeing a move from Montecito to Malibu.

From one expensive ‘M’ city to another.

An insider dished the couple have been “secretly” looking at homes in the famous beach city in order to be closer to Los Angeles.

“Harry and Meghan are reviewing their living options with Malibu being a place of interest,” the insider added. “They have secretly visited the area a couple of times and have been out and about, looking at what’s there.”

However, their plans have yet to be solidified or confirmed.

“It is uncertain if they will sell Montecito or just add a Malibu spot to buy. The move consideration comes as Meghan is shifting gears and focus back to Hollywood with WME,” the source continued.

Meghan Markle and Harry’s move to Malibu wouldn’t be so bad for a couple of reasons.

One, they’d be closer to the acting capital of the world and two, there are TONS of celebrities with whom they can “hob knob” in Malibu.

It was recently reported by NewsNation that H&M’s famous friends and neighbors in Montecito were shunning them in fear it would disrupt their relationships with Hollywood and other royal family members.

H&M were allegedly not even invited to Oprah’s birthday party this year, which if true, is very telling of their “popularity” in the coastal city.

Oprah sat down with the former royals for a tell-all interview in 2021 while the “Suits” actress was pregnant with their second child, Lilibet.

In the interview, Meghan Markle revealed a member of the Royal Family, whose identity was not made public, made a comment about "how dark and what that would look like" regarding Harry’s first-born, Archie.

According to NewsNation’s senior story producer, Paula Froelich, “Everyone’s got a movie to sell and a Broadway play they want to debut on screen in London or [London’s] West End and they know that Prince William and Kate — who are the biggest [celebrity] gets over there won’t show if they think someone is friends with Harry and Meghan. My sources tell me it’s all about the money. And the big power players in Hollywood aren’t jeopardizing their business for Harry and Meghan.”
