Jamie Foxx Looks Dapper In New Photo Shared After Hospitalization: 'Big Things Coming Soon'

Hollywood actor and singer Jamie Foxx has shared the first photo of himself in three months. The actor was hospitalized in April for a still undisclosed illness before being moved to a medical facility in Chicago, where he spent weeks recovering.

In his latest post on Instagram, Foxx looked suave in a black suit while posing next to a car. 

The movie star has been spotted out and about in public the past few days, with his first sighting being on a boat cruise along the Chicago River.

Foxx shared a gorgeous photo on Instagram, marking the first picture featuring him since his hospitalization in April. The actor, sporting a snazzy black suit and tie, struck a pose next to a Formula One car with "BETMGM" all over it. 

The "Django Unchained" star could be seen smiling while sitting on the car with his right foot on the tire and a helmet next to him.

Foxx captioned the post, "Thankful for my @betmgm family and a great few nights in Vegas. We got BIG things coming soon."

BetMGM is a betting company associated with MGM Resorts. The actor is reportedly working on a new campaign with the company and will also star in commercials for them during the football season.

After sharing his photo on his Instagram page, several fans took to the comment section to show how happy they were to have the star back on social media.

One fan wrote, "Broo, we've been missing you so much on social media, especially Instagram! It's a huge joy to know that you're well and back with your amazing posts." They continued, "Your talent and charisma are Inspiring, and we look forward to more wonderful content from you. Take care and keep shining!"

Another wrote, "Love you so much," while others just shared Goat emojis, implying that Foxx is the "greatest of all time."

Amid the happy messages, other fans threw doubt on the news about the actor's recovery, with some even calling to question his recent public sightings.

One concerned fan wrote, "I don't understand why you haven't talked to your fans yet? You used to talk to us all the time. This doesn't make any kind of sense." A second person asked, "Can you go live, Sir, to reassure your fans? WE LOVE YOU."

Foxx's daughter, Corinne, had previously shut down false reports on her father's health, emphasizing that he was doing well. Her statement greatly contrasted with a claim at the time that the actor's family was preparing for the worst. 

The "Beat Shazam" co-host wrote on her Instagram stories, "Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. He was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone's prayers and support."

According to a recent report by People magazine, Foxx threw a party at the Chicago medical facility where he was recuperating to celebrate his recovery. 

A source revealed to the news outlet that while Foxx is out of the rehab facility, he would still continue as an "outpatient" to ensure a full recovery.

They noted that the "Day Cloned Tyrone" actor "has been working really hard these last couple of months to get back to normal and has greatly improved since he first got to the facility." The source added, "He is still doing some outpatient rehab though."

Amid his recovery, Foxx has been spotted out in public on multiple occasions.

Foxx was recently seen on a boat, cruising along the Chicago River. This was the actor's first public sighting since his health scare in April.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Foxx had on a black shirt and a pair of sunglasses. The actor seemed to be in high spirits as he waved and smiled at a neighboring vessel passing his.

Shortly after his boat sighting, Foxx took to his Twitter account for the first time since his hospitalization to reference the outing.

The actor tweeted, "Boat life Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn. Stay blessed." Brown Sugar Bourbon is a liquor company owned by Foxx. Like his latest posts on Instagram, Foxx's tweet was met with both happiness and skepticism from his fans.
