Dalton Gomez is not ready for a divorce! The 27-year-old allegedly never wished to cut ties with Ariana Grande despite dating other women.

The real estate agent became a member of the celebrity world following his marriage to the multi-hyphenate star. After two years of what appeared to be marital bliss, the lovebirds officially called off their romance.

Although the pair have not confirmed their separation, sources revealed the duo have been estranged since January 2023. While it seems the "7 Rings" songstress is willing to let go of her husband, the California native hopes for a second chance.

Although sources previously reported that the soon-to-be-divorced couple had jointly agreed to end their relationship, a new informant sang a different tale. This insider claimed the real estate broker suffered without his estranged wife as he never wanted to separate.

According to the source, the 27-year-old hoped to experience a sappy love story with the "Side to Side" songstress, where the characters' love for each other overcame their differences. Addressing Gomez's feelings about the split, the informant explained:

"Dalton has been devastated by it. A separation is not what he’s wanted. He wanted the fairy tale, happy ending, and it’s not looking that way."

As mentioned, other sources previously shed light on the couple's separation, revealing that the pair faced problems they could not resolve before Grande's work took her to the UK. "Ariana and Dalton have been having some issues for months now," an informant explained.

"They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn’t resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven’t been speaking and are separated, and a divorce is likely," the anonymous individual claimed.

Although the end of their relationship is near, a different source claimed Gomez is seemingly not ready to throw in the towel. The California native reportedly wishes to resolve his issues with the Grammy winner and hopefully save their marriage.

"Dalton is really hoping to make things work with Ariana. Despite the rocky patches they’ve been through, he isn’t ready to give up on their marriage," the insider confessed to US Weekly. "He saw himself spending the rest of his life with Ariana and will do anything to get past this."

Despite these claims of Gomez's interest in reconciliation, other sources have claimed the real estate agent has dived into the dating pool amid the couple's estrangement. However, the informant stressed the 27-year-old's actions were merely a distraction from losing Grande.

The source shared that the California native "has been dating casually as an attempt to distract himself from the split," but he was not searching for a serious partner. "Truth be told, he’s not over Ariana and would still love to win her back," the anonymous individual chimed.

As for the "Save Your Tears" artist, the insider noted she was ready for a new chapter in her life. "She just wants to move forward and has no hard feelings about their breakup," the informant explained.

Days earlier, sources connected to the former couple addressed the reasons behind their split and how Gomez was moving forward with other women. The insider explained the pair could not make their love blossom in a post-covid world after building solid bonds during the pandemic.

The dynamic duo found themselves bickering over their contrasting lifestyles following the end of the quarantine. With no virus restrictions stopping Grande from living her celebrity life to the fullest, down-to-earth Gomez was overwhelmed by her activities.

The real estate broker would allegedly question why the pair needed security wherever they went, a necessity the Pop star could not live without. Their issues skyrocketed when the 30-year-old moved to London for her role as Glinda in the upcoming musical "Wicked."

By January, the couple ended their relationship and began living separate lives. However, they tried to reconcile in May and survived two weeks together before ultimately choosing to divorce.

During their months apart, the California native began dating other women, a move his estranged wife was allegedly "fine" with. Although Grande did not mind Gomez's affairs with other women, she did not like the buzz their separation had caused.

An insider revealed the "Sam & Cat" star would return to the US to deal with her divorce from the comforts of home. “Ariana is scheduled to fly out of the UK on Thursday. She is going home to see her friends and family as the scrutiny about her failed marriage increases,” the source explained.
