Gymnast Nastia Liukin is turning heads as she swims through the water in her sparkling pink bikini!
Pink is definitely one of Nastia's favorite colors and she seems to be wearing it more and more as Barbie mania takes over the Internet thanks to Margot Robbie's new movie! Although it's been pretty hot outside, some fans speculated that Nastia might actually be causing the heat wave as she hit the pool in her little bikini!

On Wednesday afternoon, the Russian-born former American artistic gymnast took to Instagram to share a reel that featured her swimming through the water in a sparkling pink bikini that featured orange straps and trim. After swimming toward the camera, Nastia stands up and squeezes the water out of her long blonde hair.
She then adjusts her bikini bottoms as she walks toward the camera, giving fans a look at her toned abs before she walks off-screen. In the caption, she praised the power of social media to connect fans, followers, and brands, tagging American actress and model Jena Sims Koepka, who is a close friend of the gymnast.
“One of the many incredible things about social media is connecting with incredible bada** people turned friends - the ones that you wanna support, the ones you wanna see thrive, and the ones you genuinely would mention their name in a room full of opportunities,” Nastia wrote before tagging the “3-Headed Shark Attack” actress.
“Insert @jenamsims - and the collab she did with @oneoneswim - which might just have become my new swim fav with the styles, fit, and colors,” she continued, also tagging the OneOne swimwear brand. “Then to take it another step further and make all the stars align, we finally meet IRL thanks to @si_swimsuit - and talk about a platform and community that does just that,” she wrote, referring to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party that she attended last month.
Fans Come To Nastia's Defense After She Gets Told She Should Be 'Ashamed' Of Wearing A Bikini
Although the five-time Olympic champion has spent a lot of time in a bikini lately, she revealed that not all fans are happy to see it. “Despite the negative comments and DMs - especially on posts like these where I am continually told how ashamed of myself I should be for posting in a bikini, I remain grateful for this platform, this community, and the boss babes that have come into my life from around the country and world,” she wrote.
Many users have been critical of Nastia’s appearance lately, expressing concern that she has become “too thin” and that she is promoting unrealistic body standards for young women. Other followers have fired back by saying their “concerns” are really just “judgment” and that Nastia is just showing off her body and not trying to “influence” a younger generation to be skinny.
For what it’s worth, Jena Sims was one of the first to comment on her post, writing, “Omg she did a whole reel. Thank you” alongside two double heart emojis. Other followers were quick to come to Nastia’s defense in the comments, especially after hearing that she has received more negative comments and DMs than they may have suspected.
“You keep on posting in whatever you want to wear. Do NOT let negative people get to you. You are gorgeous and should be proud of every inch of your body. Please take this from an almost 57-year-old woman who let too many people get under my skin when I was your age,” one fan commented. “Wow. Sad anyone would say anything negative to you about this. As someone who lacked balance and coordination I have forever been in awe of the beauty, power, and grace you displayed in gymnastics,” another follower wrote.
“Why can’t people stop telling people what to do with their bodies and what they wear!!” a third fan exclaimed. “Whoever said that you should be ashamed of yourself should be ashamed of themselves!! You are absolutely stunning!!” another follower chimed in.
