Bachelor Nation might remember Brennan's love for the ukelele and his penchant for singing original compositions.

Brennan has also shown fans a bit of behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of his first pop single, "august!"

Three weeks ago he posted a reel featuring footage of himself hearing the song's final mixes. Brennan jams to the single and lip-synchs along to the lyrics, which he includes as captions. In the reel's caption, he wrote, "rainy days are for sad pop!!!!"

He also wrote in the reel, "Just got the master back from my first ever pop single and I could cry."

Brennan's were stoked about what they heard!

A fan commented, "this sounds good. Sounds like Niall Horan vibes."

The Bachelor Nation alum may not have won Thurston's heart, but the duo are on good terms today! Thurston, who has shifted her career from being a reality TV star to doing stand-up comedy, recently posted a clip of Brennan roasting her during one of her recent stand-up shows.

Brennan brought in his trusty ukelele to film a virtual roast for his ex. At one point he sings, "It's been a while, couple years at least, since you dumped my a** on national TV."

He continues his 'Bachelorette' themed jokes, singing, "At least I didn't get fake engaged," before stopping his song to ask "How's Blake doing? Or was it John or Greg?" Thurston was briefly engaged to Blake Moynes before starting a brief relationship with John Hersey. She would nearly get engaged to Greg Grippo, but the twosome's split was filmed for the show. Grippo is now dating "Bachelor In Paradise" alumna Victoria Fuller.

Brennan also joked about Thurston's infamous "12 Days of Messy" Instagram story series where Thurston counted down while poking fun at each of her contestants. The series was reportedly intended to count down to Taylor Swift's then-newly released "Red (Taylor's Version)," but it received pushback from men on her season.
