The former Chrisley Knows Best star is still trying to figure out how she is dealing with her dad Todd Chrisley and her stepmom Julie Chrisley going to prison. But it's not all about her; Lindsie's son, Jackson, 11, is also struggling.

She shared their joint struggles in an emotional Instagram post. "When I look back on my life, I see pain, mistakes, and heartache. When I look in the mirror, I see strength, learned lessons, and pride in myself.," she wrote.

Chrisley attached a few photos, an update from the last few months of her life while sharing how she and Jackson are pushing through.

She admits she worries for her son, especially when she sees him notice things that trigger his memory. "On our way to the beach, I saw Jackson notice the signs to Pensacola, Florida, and began looking around without saying much to me."

She continued. "I noticed he was always watching my body language and facial expressions. He asked me if he could open the sunroof to "feel his papa's air. The hard decisions parents face daily are not talked about enough," she admits.

Chrisley has been a single mom for several years, and on her "Coffees and Convos" podcast, she often spoke about realizing new things every day.

Chrisley also shared that she currently has no plans to allow Jackson to visit his grandparents in that environment.

"Forever trying to do what you think is best without knowing the outcome is incredibly difficult. Knowing Jackson misses his grandparents, even seeing that he has sent them text messages to phones they don't have when I turn off his phone at night, shatters me," she admits.

"Knowing my decision regarding Jackson visiting my parents in the prison environment is based on what the court decides regarding their appeal is causing more heartache. I trust God has a plan."

She continues trying to stay positive for her son and herself during this insane time in her family's life. That means pushing forward with daily things.

The 33-year-old shared that she is making things as normal as possible, even thrips to see Grandpa and Grandma are not being action anymore.

"Jackson had his first sleepover with Will's parents since our divorce and had a great time. It's been hard to want to give up extra time even though we know how important his relationships are with other family members."

She continued to share that Jackson will be on her podcast "The Southern Tea" to discuss what he's been up to and maybe even dive into his feelings about his grandparents being locked up.

Chrisley doesn't often talk about her parent's situation, but if it will help her son process, she is all for it!
