Group Of Kids Hilariously Saved Shaq In Pool: 'I'm Drowning!'

Imagine being on vacation and enjoying some pool time and you look over and there's Shaq, AKA Shaquille O'Neal. And better yet, he wants to hang out with you.

That's exactly what happened to a group of lucky kids who were swimming in a resort pool in Hawaii. They got the chance of a lifetime to "save" the NBA great from "drowning" and now have a story to tell anyone and everyone about their fun adventure.

During a recent trip to Hawaii, O'Neal saw an opportunity to have some fun while giving a group of kids a story they'll likely tell for the rest of their lives.

While visiting the pool at a resort, O'Neal joined the group of about 10 kids and pretended to be drowning. He said, "I'm drowning" as he slowly fell into the water and the kids jumped into action to lift the big man up out of the water and get him to safety. All the while there's laughter, jokes, and even one kid taking video or photos while walking past the scene in the water.

The video was taken and shared on TikTok by a man named Dan who happened to be in the right place at the right time. He captioned the video, "Shaq is such a cool guy tho."

His video has received more than 1 million views on TikTok and has been shared around the internet over and over.

"Casually hangin wit shaq is crazy ?," one follower wrote in the comments. Dan replied, "He was at our hotel for a week and I even got a pic with him lmao."

Another follower wrote, "Core memory for these kids fs," to which Dan replied, "They’re gonna be the coolest kids in school now."

Dan also revealed in the comments that Shaq was on the island "playing shows" and "living the life." He also said, "He let a ton of kids on stage too while he was performing."

Dan shared a follow up video captioned, "The kids brought back Shaq!" that shows the kids all around Shaq as he walked around the pool after being "saved."

"Shaq is just doing side missions man LMAO," one person wrote in the comments. "Honestly iconic that he's out there playing with the kids," another person added.

Dan also shared a TikTok explaining the story behind video.

"Let me tell you how that video even happened," he began. "I was just chilling, relaxing, minding my own business in the pool and all of a sudden I see this whole group of people crowding around this one area."

That's when Dan went to check out what was going on and saw the NBA legend interacting with the kids. Dan had to make a decision, capture this fun on film or just enjoy the moment. He chose to film it, which the internet is clearly happy about.

"This guy's being real right now. He's being such a cool guy. I'm sure people would love to see this side of him," he continued. "And I filmed it and y'all changed my life."

Dan also got the opportunity to meet O'Neal in the lobby of the hotel and get a photo and shared it on his Instagram page.

It's safe to say that O'Neal helped to make paradise even more amazing and memorable for a group of kids who now have the story of a lifetime to share and memories that will live on forever.
