Sofia Vergara turns up the heat in a thong swimsuit!

The "Modern Family" star took to her Instagram page on July 17 and shared a tantalizing update that showcased her enviable curves. Vergara flaunted her perky backside in a skimpy one-piece while vacationing in Italy.

The 51-year-old rocked a blue number featuring black spots that provided a little coverage for her bodacious figure. It had thin straps going over her shoulders, highlighting her slender arms. Her suit was low-cut under the arms and pretty daring, as it was dangerously close to revealing a little too much of her chest. The underwire structure of the cups and the tight fit enhanced her cleavage display.

Vergara's swimsuit also had high leg cuts that exposed a lot of skin from her waist to her hips. As for the colors, they complemented her flawlessly tanned complexion.

Vergara wore her brunette locks down and let the long strands fall on her back. She also sported makeup and several accessories, such as bangles and rings.

The video saw Vergara enjoying the warm weather on a balcony. She lifted her right foot and planted it on the sun bed in front of her. The Colombian beauty then lifted her body up and walked over the cushion before going down while holding a bottle of water and an empty glass.

Vergara continued walking barefoot on the floor before the camera stopped rolling and showed her about to go up the stairs.

In the caption, the actress wrote something in Spanish that was directed to a friend. She revealed that it was "92 degrees in Ravello."

Although she feels like she's "going to die of the heat," Vergara noted that she's "happy."

Many of Vergara's fans, including some fellow celebrities, loved the share. The clip gained more than 940,000 likes in less than a day. Some social media users flocked to the comments section to shower the actress with compliments and praise.

The snaps came after news of Vergara and her husband, Joe Manganiello, are divorcing after seven years of marriage.

"We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple told Page Six in a statement. "As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."

Currently, the actress is celebrating her 51st birthday in Italy with her friends.

"Sofia and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future," a source said of the duo.
