Sorry, but Lala Kent is not accepting any criticism today or ever! The reality TV star recently aired her disinterest in receiving the unsolicited opinions of haters, especially mom shamers.
It is no secret that celebrity status comes with frequent judgments from the public as many try to enforce their principles on their favorite stars. This moral police attacked the "Vanderpump Rules" star after the blonde beauty's post did not fit their standards.
Following the backlash for sharing a sensual image alongside a picture of her daughter, the Salt Lake City native fired back at critics in a passionate post. Calling out her faultfinders, the 32-year-old advised them to get a life and stay far away from her business.
Lala Kent Silences Trolls For Condemning Her Parental Principles Over Butt-Baring Post
Taking to her Instagram Story, the "Reflections in the Mud" actress addressed the viral narrative about her alleged failure as a mom over her thirst trap post. Defending herself, the entertainer stressed she would not tolerate hostility from her followers.
Resharing the picture that started the whole drama, the TV personality expressed her exhaustion for mom shamers. The 32-year-old noted these haters had judged her without understanding the reason behind her butt-baring snap.
According to the "Give Them Lala" author, she wanted to capture the moment when she felt attractive after juggling her responsibilities as a working mom. Kent's message read:
"I'm so over the mom shaming from some of you women. I'm a parent, work full time, rarely have one moment for just me, and for just one second on the 4th of July, I felt hot and wanted a picture."
The Salt Lake City native insisted she would not let critics ruin this beautiful moment for her, writing: "Anything but praise is unwelcome. If you have anything negative to say, go f*ck yourself. Leave me alone."
As for her failure as a mom, the blonde model clarified what happened behind the scenes. "The kids weren't watching me take this picture. And even if they were, we all have butts. Take time to love on yours," the media personality concluded her message.
The online roasting began over the weekend when the "Give Them Lala" podcast host shared the controversial slideshow on her Instagram page. The post, captioned "Mom's turn," featured two images.
The first snap captured the influencer's daughter with former fiancé Randall Emmett, Ocean. The little girl stuck her adorable head through the bars of a fence, posing next to her mother's "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Scheana Shay's daughter, Summer.
The toddlers donned matching plaid dresses with similar curious expressions as they stared at something beyond the fence. The following slide seemingly implied the girls were looking at Kent as it showed the entrepreneur posing outdoors.
In the picture, the 32-year-old rocked a black thong one-piece and matching ankle boots. She exuded confidence, flashing the camera her perky backside with her hands on her butt.
Although the post received over 100,000 likes, the comment section was a slam feast. “Mom’s turn? It’s just weird,” someone quipped while another chimed: “This post is just weird on EVERY LEVEL!” A third penned a lengthy backlash, reading:
“YOU, of all people, should know better than this. Posting a picture of children and then a more sexual image next to it is gross and suggestive. I’m hopeful that you edit this post @lalakent due to the many creeps on social media.”
The 'Trauma Center' Actress Opened Up About The 'Broken' Family Court System
Months before her butt-baring drama, the Salt Lake City native shed light on the nasty custody battle with her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. On her Instagram Story, the mother of one shared a somber-looking picture of herself staring at her laptop screen with a printed script on the keyboard.
In the overlay text, the 32-year-old lamented about the poor family court system, stating she was in a battle. Although she never mentioned the filmmaker by name, her opinions about the domiciliary law seemed targeted at her rocky relationship with her ex.
“I see a family court system that is broken nationwide. When I entered this battle, I knew I was not alone,” Kent began. “The well-being & protection of our children comes last to lining the pocketbooks of court ‘professionals,’ & parental ‘rights.’”
The "Out of Death" actress explained her experiences with the family court system finally had a “purpose”— to raise awareness about the issue. The reality TV star's concluding note read:
“I knew my voice now had a purpose & needed to be put to use. It was an honor to give a proponent testimonial for SB250 in Montana today.”
