Karlie Kloss & Joshua Kushner Announce Arrival Of Their 2nd Child

Karlie Kloss and her husband, Joshua Kushner, have welcomed another addition to their beautiful family of three. This is the couple's second son since they tied the knot on October 18, 2018.

When the former "Victoria's Secret" model and her husband walked the red carpet at the 2023 Met Gala, the couple disclosed the pregnancy was in its third trimester, making the news public for the first time. 

And although there had been gossip surrounding their child's delivery beforehand, the doting father and husband broke the news of their second child, a son, on his social media page. 

The pair— parents to two-year-old son Levi Joseph— welcomed their second son on July 11, but Kushner shared the good news on Instagram on July 13. "welcome to ?❤️ 7.11.23," the supermodel's hubby wrote next to a photo of the infant in a blue knit hat, and he tagged Kloss in the picture.

In the announcement, he did not reveal their child's name or gender, nor has his wife posted on her social media pages. Many famous faces congratulated the pair in the comments, including Mark Zuckerberg, Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, and Gwyneth Paltrow.  

Again, one fan replied, "Welcome Levi's little brother ? ? Congratulations to the proud parents and grandparents, and especially much love to Levi ?." "So happy for you all ?," a second fan wrote. A third added: "The cutest ❤."

At the time the "Kode with Klossy" founder debuted her baby bump at the 2023 Met Gala in New York City on May 1, PEOPLE confirmed the couple had initially revealed they were expecting their second child while leaving their hotel for the star-studded event.

As the lovebirds made their way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art from the Mark Hotel, Kushner gave his pregnant wife her big moment with photographers before escorting her onward. The model showcased her bump in a LOEWE form-fitting black column dress embellished with lengthy strands of pearls around the waist. 

Inspired by the theme of this year's Met Gala, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," LOEWE creative director Jonathan Anderson "delved into" the Met Costume Institute's archives to reimagine a Karl Lagerfeld's Spring Summer 1983 Chanem collection for pregnant Kloss.

The floor-length gown was created from velvet satin and heavily featured the late designer's design. The entrepreneur's stylist Karla Welch finished the look with a long-strand bead necklace and an Anagram motif signature belt. She added a Jennifer Behr bow to Kloss' hair, too.

After the event, when asked by ET why the duo chose the Met Gala to reveal the news, the mother-of-two answered, "This is the most important night in fashion, of course, and I'm honestly surprised I could keep it a secret this long." 

The model met her beau in June 2012 when she was just 19 years old, and they've been together for over a decade. However, they have been super private with their relationship. Kloss only tweeted, "four years ago today, I met my best friend" in 2016, giving fans a clue of when they met.

The sweethearts became official on Instagram in 2014. The 30-year-old model stated that her boyfriend is "usually behind the camera," and he indeed posts many photos of Kloss on his Instagram grid.

Next, Karlie Kloss confirmed her engagement on Instagram in June 2018, and a few months later, they said their vows in upstate New York in October. The couple held a second ceremony in Wyoming at the Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga the following year.

Two years later, in March 2021, the couple welcomed their first son Levi. Kushner broke the news by sharing a first pic and captioning it, "welcome to the world ?."

As previously reported, the "Project Runway" former host was pregnant with their second child in May as she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet of the Met Gala. However, on July 11, Kloss and Kushner became two-time parents.
