Are Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco finally burying the hatchet? — is probably the question on fans' minds with the recent sightings.

Recent events suggest a significant shift in their relationship as the former couple displayed an unexpected camaraderie at a recent gathering. Despite their troubled past and highly publicized conflicts, the Hollywood star's near-fatal accident earlier this year has prompted them to set aside their differences.

A since-deleted video surfaced on Instagram, courtesy of Rory Millikin, Renner's friend and co-host of his Disney+ series "Rennervations." The intriguing footage captured a surprising sight — Pacheco standing inside the 52-year-old's home.

In the clip, the 35-year-old was carrying a baby's bottle, presumably for her second daughter Wylder, fathered by ice hockey player Nate Thompson. Daily Mail also reported that it coincided with the appearance of another video the actress shared on Instagram, capturing a serene forest creek she most likely encountered during her hike. 

Interestingly, the creek's location reportedly aligns with a previous picture posted by the boyfriend of Renner's niece, Kayla, while he was visiting the ranch. These posts suggest that Pacheco has been residing at his farm for an extended period.

This new development might be surprising to most, especially those who remember that the former couple — who were married for less than a year — were involved in a bitter custody battle over their daughter Ava. The scandalous allegations of wild parties, drug use, and even unsafe behavior around their child were exposed during the dispute. 

During their divorce proceedings, the sculptor reportedly raised concerns about the validity of their prenuptial agreement. By the end of 2015, the pair finalized their separation, with Renner agreeing to pay $13,000 per month in child support.

Initially, the parents had agreed to joint custody of the 10-year-old as part of the settlement. However, in 2019, the "American Pie Presents: The Book of Love" actress requested full legal and physical custody and monitored visitation for the "Dahmer" star. 

She reportedly cited alarming incidents in legal documents, including his alleged threats toward her life. However, the "Neo Ned" actor's representative swiftly responded to the allegations, stating:

"The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy. This is a matter for the court to decide. It's important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni's declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind."

In a later interview, Renner addressed the allegations, dismissing them as "nonsense." He firmly noted that responding to such claims only fuels the fire and that he refuses to engage in that behavior. 

After the unfortunate incident, the "Avengers" star, who sustained several injuries, fans and the entertainment industry came together to express their concern. As a testament to his resolve and strength, the father-of-one embarked on a recovery journey, prioritizing healing and rebuilding his life.

Five months later, the TV personality shared a video on his Instagram page as he drove, hinting at his plans to spend time with family at his ranch. Accompanied by Mariah Carey's song "Dream Lover," the clip captured his scenic drive down a winding road adorned with magnificent trees.

The location in the footage held a special significance for him, as it was near Washoe County, the area of his unfortunate snow plow accident. In the caption accompanying the video, the entrepreneur wrote:

"Lake Tahoe / Home #family #lakeday." Fans took to the comments with excitement, like this admirer who exclaimed, "Yeah!!! Enjoy?," while another described the view as "So majestic and awe-inspiring!!" 

Many followers sent well wishes and love, offering words of encouragement. An example was a third who stated, "Gorgeous scenery, and I hope you're doing well. We love you. Be strong and stay safe. Have an amazing and adventurous weekend." Meanwhile, a fourth praised his music choice, writing, "Perfect bg sound ? I think ? plz, be safe & take care ? Sir Barton ??."
