Jeremy Renner sought solace and relaxation during the weekend by visiting Lake Tahoe.

The year started horribly for the Marvel star when he faced a harrowing incident with his snow plow that resulted in him sustaining over 30 broken bones, leading to multiple surgeries. After a challenging recovery journey, the Hollywood actor revisited the scene of a life-altering event five months ago.

The details of the mishap the "Avengers" star sustained had garnered widespread attention and concern from fans and the entertainment industry alike. Since then, the father-of-one has been on a recovery journey, focusing on healing and rebuilding his life.

The entrepreneur shared a video on his Instagram page as he drove, implying he was off to spend time with family. Set to Mariah Carey's song "Dream Lover," the clip captured his scenic drive down a winding road lined with magnificent trees.

In the caption, he wrote, "Lake Tahoe / Home #family #lakeday." Fans expressed excitement and admiration for the "Dahmer" actor's video, like this user who gushed, "Yeah!!! Enjoy?." This follower described the view as "So majestic and awe-inspiring!!"

In his first social media post following the snowplow accident he endured on New Year's Day, Renner expressed gratitude towards those who supported him and well-wishes during his recovery.

The "28 Weeks Later" star's representative had first released a statement confirming that he was in critical but stable condition. His publicist, Samantha Mast, also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and requested continued thoughts for his recovery.

After the official announcement from his team, the 52-year-old, despite his injuries, shared a hospital bed selfie on Instagram, showcasing his bruised face and the presence of tubes. In a brief caption, the actor wrote:

"Thank you all for your kind words. Im [SIC] too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."

In a clip posted to his page, the beloved movie star engaged in a series of warm-up exercises, utilizing two exercise ropes connected to a large piece of equipment. He sported a black face cap, a matching long-sleeved hoodie, gray shorts, and vibrant gym shoes. In the caption, Renner penned:

"UPDATE: I've decided to push through the pain of progress (this damn shattered tibia) and take the new parts for a tiny test drive."

Acknowledging the miraculous nature of the human body, he likened himself to the "Tin Man," humorously referencing the need for oil in his new joints. In conclusion, he added, "Encouraged after this warm-up to press on (don't tell my PT)."
