Shortly after announcing plans for her next album, "The Loveliest Time," Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed its release date!
Jepsen previously released "The Loneliest Time" last October. Her sixth album would bring her viral TikTok success, thanks to the title song, which was a collaboration with musician Rufus Wainwright.
The 37-year-old popster would burst onto the music scene 11 years ago with the infectious bop "Call Me Maybe," and would later release the cult classic album "Emotion."
The "Cut To The Feeling" singer has been known to paint a full picture with her releases; Jepsen has historically released 'B-Side' companion albums to her official releases! Her latest 'B-Side' record was for 2019's "Dedicated."
Jepsen, who released her latest single "Shy Boy" a few weeks ago, recently revealed her plans to continue "The Loneliest Time"s story with an Instagram post.

The Blast has covered multiple pieces of Jepsen-related clips lately; the "Surrender My Heart" singer has been everything but stagnant!
We took a look at Jepsen's recent Instagram post wherein she reveals her plans for a new album. "The Loveliest Time" will be a bit different from her previous B-side companion albums, though; Jepsen sees the project as "a completed set" to the work she released nine months ago.
In the caption to a photo Jepsen posted last week to Instagram, she detailed the thought process and inspiration behind "The Loveliest Time."
She wrote, "It’s been the loneliest time, it’s been the loveliest time. After a season of hibernation comes the season of blossoming🌻. I got to know loneliness and discover the beauty in it. The loneliest time taught me that growth comes from being planted in darkness. But now the world has opened itself back up again and in turn so have we. It’s time for celebration and for all the lessons we have learned to burst into joyful action. The Loveliest Time…"
The "Joshua Tree" singer would go on to point out what will make "The Loveliest Time" different from her previous B-side records.
"At this point you know me so well that I won’t even tease about a b sides. It’s almost disrespectful because you know that it’s coming. And in fact this is the time to announce that it’s here. It’s done and a month from now The Loveliest Time will be all yours. I can’t really call it a b sides as if these were cast off ideas - it’s the completed set to a body of work that taught me so much about love and loneliness and myself. So let the countdown begin. Thank you for your continued support. Always x Carly," she concluded.
