Simone Biles Is In Awe Of Progress On 'Dream Home' With Husband Jonathan Owens: 'Can't Believe'

Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, continue to flourish in their marital life as they steadily update fans on the part of their lives they want the world to know about.

A month before tying the knot, the pair announced they had bought a piece of land where they were going to build their dream home and live happily together.

After having their wedding ceremony in May, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a lot of progress has been made on the purchased land.

The artistic gymnast, who is always eager to converse with her fans through her social media pages, updated them on the impressive progress that has been made in preparation for building her family home.

Showing off the work on her Instagram Story to her 6.8 million followers, she posted a nine seconds clip revealing the state of the land, which workers were actively working on.

Aside from the foundation, which had been laid on the ground, wooden structures stood erect on different segments of the property. Also visible in the clip was a mobile toilet made available for the construction workers.

Additionally, lumber planks, vehicles carrying building materials, and a ladder were also included in the video. Although a lot of work still has to be carried out on the developing land, Biles couldn't contain her excitement. She raved in the caption, "I can't believe we are building our dream home ??."

The recent advancement on the purchased property comes weeks after the Olympic medalist showed off the early stages when the land was being constructed. The athlete took to her Instagram stories to reveal a clip of the vast land when it was all cement and blocks.

While the foundation seemed to have already been laid, the workers were spotted on the structure, helping to even out the mixture. Construction equipment, including a truck with a crane attached to it, was captured in the video.

Captioning the post, she announced, "Foundation has been poured," before proceeding to tag her husband's Instagram handle.

Looking back to the moment they disclosed they bought the property in March, Biles couldn't keep calm as she uploaded three photos on her Instagram page, featuring herself and her man posing together at the secluded property.

For the sentimental occasion, the 26-year-old donned a purple tracksuit and pouted at the camera while her handsome husband wore a white T-shirt and had his hair styled in braids. He affectionately wrapped his arms around Biles' neck and kissed her earlobe.

The following slide captured the footballer backing the camera as he stared at their soon-to-be dream home, presumably relishing the important milestone. On the other hand, the third frame was a view of the excavated space. Several trees had been cleared away for the land which was surrounded by tall trees. And on a closer look, a house could be seen on the other side of the property.

The delighted wife captioned the post, writing, "a home is made with love & dreams. Cheers to breaking ground." Fans and colleagues were quick to congratulate the couple in her comments section, with her husband commenting first, "So excited!!!!" Alongside a red heart emoji.

Retired gymnast McKenna Lane Kelley happily wrote, "congrats to the Owens!" While Elaine Welteroth, a renowned journalist penned, "Love this stage of life for you." Meanwhile, a supporter of the couple chimed, "I love when people do [this] because it's a whole journey for the followers too, lol."

The Ohio native, who is going to live with her husband in their forever home, marked their one-month anniversary of becoming man and wife in June!

The renowned gymnast went on Instagram to post a never-seen-before photo the pair took at their destination wedding. In the snap, the lovebirds lovingly embraced each other, standing next to a leafless tree. Biles looked ethereal dressed in a flowing white dress with a lengthy train, while Owens looked dashing, wearing a beige suit and brown shoes.

The couple was photographed in an utterly dreamy spot with white floors and neutrally designed walls arranged to spotlight their breathtaking appearance.

She declared in her caption, "One month into forever loving you." The doting wife also credited their photographer, "@stanlophotography."
