Bethany Joy Lenz revealed a heartbreaking tidbit about her past on the "One Tree Hill" rewatch podcast this week.

Lenz, who played young mother and musician Haley James-Scott on the classic teen drama "One Tree Hill" from 2003 until 2012, sat down with her "Drama Queens" co-hosts, Hilarie Burton-Morgan (Peyton Sawyer) and Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis) on Monday, and the trio discussed an extremely personal aspect of Lenz's private life.

The "One Tree Hill" actresses have gotten extremely personal on "Drama Queens" before. The trio notably discussed their reluctance to pose on the cover of Maxim magazine in the mid-aughts, and have discussed discourse involving disgraced showrunner Marc Schwann.

The WB and CW series often depicted extremely serious storylines akin to Lenz's real-life story; her character Haley got married and became a mother before her twenties!

Not only did Lenz reveal a giant decade-long aspect of her life, she told her co-hosts how she plans to make peace with it and share further details with the public.

On Monday's episode of "Drama Queens", the "One Tree Hill" actress revealed she had been a member of a cult for 10 years. However, she did not reveal the name of said cult.

Lenz's reported plan to make peace with her past involves putting pen to paper- something she already does on a regular basis, she told her co-stars and the co-host for Monday's episode, Michelle McManus. (per People Magazine)

She noted that her experience "would be a very valuable experience to write about..." Lenz also reveals the long amount of time she took to recover from the experience, "and the recovery, 10 years of recovery after that. So there's a lot to tell."

There would also be a lot to make sure the actress gets right about the experience; tackling such a pivotal chapter of her life makes Lenz a bit nervous. She noted, "The pressure of getting it right and everything having to be exactly real and all the people that are involved."

Although she has yet to make any concrete plans to write a memoir about her experience, Lenz did reveal she has been writing about the experience privately for a while.

Of the writing process Lenz adds, "Also, I don't know how much I can say because there are still people and legal things in place that make it more complicated for the timing of that. But I do write. I write all the time."

Lenz was not the only WB alumna involved with a cult or a cultlike organization; "Smallville" actress Allison Mack plead guilty for her actions in her involvement with NXIVM, a cult-like sex group, in 2019. She pleads guilty to racketeering and conspiracy charges at the time. Mack severed two years in prison after facing up to 17 years behind bars.
