Holland and the hosts talked everything from his ballet days to Zendaya to his sobriety.

During the conversation, the Hayes asked Holland, “Did you feel pressure or any kind of responsibility to be kind of like a role model? Not that you asked for that, but it kind of just happened. Or do you just go, ‘That’s not me. I didn’t ask for it and don’t look at me like a role model.’”

The actor responded, “I tell you something that really does stress me out. I am so severely dyslexic that when I post on Instagram or something, I have to get three people to proof read. It like really stresses me out, because it goes out to everyone and you don’t want to look like an idiot, you know.”

Captions on social media posts are one of his biggest stressors, who would’ve thought.

Holland continued, “But, no, I guess I understand that I’m lucky I have someone like Zendaya in my life. It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone who is in the same boat as you. The ‘Spider-Man’ co-stars first met on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2017. Their chemistry on and off-screen was undeniable; however, the co-stars seemed to be denying their true feelings for one another.

They would go on to star in 2019’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and this year’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

For years, Tom and Zendaya had the romance rumor mill churning, but it wasn’t until the summer of 2021 that the couple made it officially official.

And when we say “officially official,” we mean they were spotted by paparazzi packing on the PDA in Los Angeles traffic.

Since then, the couple has been a bit more public with their romance and have obviously spoken about each other in different interviews.

Later in the podcast episode, the “Avengers: End Game” star spoke about his sobriety and how that too has changed his life for the better.

Holland Opens Up About His Sobriety Journey

“I gave up drinking of January of last year,” he explained. “I gave up for a multitude of reasons, but really just ‘cause I wanted to take a break and in taking that break it was the hardest thing I’d ever done. And I was like, ‘Oh, maybe I should look at this a little more seriously and elongate the break.’ Eventually I took it to my birthday, June 1st, and by the time I’d done six months I felt so amazing that I was like, ‘I don’t I ever drink again.’”

Holland first spoke candidly about his sobriety to Entertainment Weekly in May.

His decision to quit the sauce was in preparation of his new project, “The Crowded Room.”

It’s a crime thriller on Apple TV+.
